The understudy board is in the lobby next to the bar when you first walk in.
There are also usually inserts in the playbill for all major understudies.
Yes, I think Tracy is out starting the 9th and through the 13th, so you won't get a chance to see her, although I enjoy both her understudies. You should def try and catch her when you can though! I think she is signed for a while...

Sorry, I didn't mean to make a drive-by post of the u/s board like that, I swear I'd written something, but apparently I only thought it...anyway, Cara and Rod were fine, but, and this is totally shallow here- I want Kenkels to have a better Nikos wardrobe. He was totally great and funny and was excellent in "There! Right There!" and everything good, but there was something about his wardrobe that was seriously bugging me, where the Nikos 'look' just wasn't as pulled together looking as it looks on Manuel Herrera, or something...anyway, there you go...

I love Tracy and the person I'm going with loves her even more, so that's too bad we'll be missing her. I'm sure her u/s will be fantastic though. Guess we'll just have to go back again to see Tracy.

Last I heard/read LBB was with Blonde thru Summer 2008- at least so says this profile piece dated about three weeks ago:


(Bundy told us she was planning to stay with the show until summer and probably would move on then, which prompted us to ask about her future.)


*shrug* Hadn't heard anything about her leaving at the end of this month.

Andy Karl - Emmett
Gaelen - Vivienne
Cara Cooper - Elle's mom, Whitney
Lindsay Nicole Chambers - The D.A.
Matthew Risch - Dewey/Kyle
Rod Harrelson - Carlos

I believe that's all!

Great show...always love getting the pleasure of seeing Andy's Emmett, and I hadn't seen Gaelen's Vivienne since Kate's vacation in early summer. Cara is always hysterical as Elle's mom. Lindsay Nicole Chambers, as discussed, is brilliant with everything she does. Matt Risch is a fabulous Kyle, and Rod is FABULOUS!!! and hysterical as Carlos.

Gaeleen doesn't seem like the Vivienne type to me. She doesn't seem sharp and cold...she seems more fun and lovable...

Having seen GG's Vivienne and remain polite, let's just say, it's not good. Maybe if I could hear her and she didn't mess up as many lines as she does (face it, not a big enough part to mess up repeatedly) I might be more generous with praise but it's not a good fit at all.

I saw the Wendsday Matinee!!!
Only understudy was LNC and she was actually very good!!
I got student rush and sat in A 118, couldn't be more excited. i'll post a review about it in a little bit.

Richard Blake is going to be on vacation for ten shows in February. It's the Sunday before President's Day through that whole week. I'm too lazy to look at the dates right now.

Does anyone know how long Christian Borle will be staying? I know they are renegotiating contracts right now (as was mentioned a couple pages ago) but I haven't heard anything about him staying or going. I know there was a possibility he was leaving to do another Catch Me If You Can workshop, but now it seems like they are looking for an unknown. I was just surprised there was nothing definite. It seems like if he was leaving in a couple weeks, people would know.

Also, if he does leave, do you think they'll bring in someone new for Emmett? Or would they just have Andy Karl or Bryce step into the role?

It would be AMAZING to have Andy Karl as the full-time Emmett, he's completely brilliant, and (in my opinion) worlds better than Christian Borle, but I don't think they will bump up Andy or Bryce when/if Christian leaves, unfortunately.

I doubt they will bump up Bryce considering he hasn't even gone on as Emmett. I wish they would bump up Andy but he does his own roles so well that I kind of feel like it would be hard to replace his tracks.

Christian Borle and Michael Rupert are the only two who I haven't heard have signed through July...

i saw the show today and it still says noah as an understudy for emmett but it has bryce as aaron. he was alright b/c it was not noah.
there was no understudies for the matinee.
i agree andy does cover his three roles amazing and it will be for one person to cover those three roles. i feel the same for kate wetherhead as kate/chutney.
if christian leaves i was wishing for noah to be emmett but it wont happen.
it is so exciting that nikki never took a day off yet. do you think when she does michelle will be the first understudy for brooke? i hope so!!!! michelle is now an understudy for pilar with beth curry.
do you guys see nathan balsar as emmett forrest? i do.
