This show is a hit, it's trending several topics on twitter. AWESOME. ! We want more NBC
there is a goodness and a pureness and earnestness in Carrie that comes through that makes you just love her and is perfect for maria. Steven on the other hand he is just to bill vampire for me and maybe it's just because I watch that show
It's kind of bizarre to see Ashley Brown playing the mime maid. She starred in "that other Julie Andrews musical" on Broadway.
If this is ratings gold, as I expect it to be, I could see NBC making live musicals a holiday tradition.
Curious to as what people got paid of this.
Which would be wonderful!

"Geez gotham u r such the debbie downer...who pee'd in your strudel?"
I just have very high standards.
Why is Carrie wearing a "Valley of the Dolls' wig for these past few scenes?
I hope next year it is "Fiddler on the Roof"!
Change the channel, Goth. Why put yourself through inferior material.
How is it that Benanti has these delicious, gorgeous fitted garments and Carrie's clothes look like they were borrowed from the Kmart Jacqueline Smith Collection?

While I don't think either Carrie or Stephen is really selling this, I find I am more connected to Maria...she has her moments that touch me. I am not connecting to Stephen at all.
But again..not complaining, just commenting..
I think NBC just found the way to make television relevant again (outside of the Superbowl and a Award Shows.)
The LIVE factor makes it a must see, I can't watch one second without my heart pounding. It's live and scary, almost real and engaging. GO NBC. What was old is new and this is a hit!
I can just the whiners for that! (It would be considered blasphemous to tell a Jewish story so close to Christmas!)
And it's blowing up the Twitterverse!
The Reich side....GET IT?
Pretty sure someone just forgot their lines.....

Another transition nicely done.
Loved the transition.
Damn that is a lot of red for network tv.
