I'd forgotten how much fun 'How Can Love Survive?' is. I always wondered why Hammerstein wrote several choruses for that song but couldn't come up with anything but endless reprises of 'My Favorite Things'

Those curtains made some awesome outfits.
Carrie's accent sounds so funny, but it makes Maria seem like an outsider appropriately.
These kids are really good!
Carrie just got much more natural. There was a moment with the Captain just then.
EDIT: E.Davis, maybe that's what I found odd about Friedrich at the start.

Someone here earlier in the week said that he/she felt the child actress who plays Marta would be a little weak. I think she is a hoot...
