Bravo to Liesel and Rolf for that dance routine - live but based on recording which leaves room for no mistakes.

OH MY GOD THAT ROLL DOWN THE HILL. Yup, that was awkward.

I love the choreo for 16 going on 17, but OMG Rolf was too old. So weird!

Carrie is fine ..her acting is not bad but you can tell she is nervous but Maria would be nervous..Her singing is great...Audra is from another planet!! she is unreal...I am grateful that they are doing this as it might lead to more...and for that THANK YOU CARRIE if not for her name attached it would not have happened

That dressing gown is too fancy for a poor nun.
Kristen Neilson is working for that EMMY.
The children are wonderful!

It couldn't have been easy dancing on the hills with the uneven surfaces...
The guys' pajamas are absolutely hideous but it's hilarious.
YES. CARRIE. This is where she's comfortable. This song has been my jam recently.
EDIT: Yes, Kristen Neilson is fantastic, as are the children and the other servant. Also, DAMN, Friedrich can yodel. That's really weird.

I'm impressed that the set walls don't shake. When you watch sitcoms (Happy Days) you can see the walls shake when people touch them.
Her singing is lovely, but her acting is pretty horrible. I'm sticking with it.
Impressed with Carrie's yodelling. She seems to be enjoying this a bit more too.
Christopher Plummer is trending. There is no one like him. Stephen plays him very douchey.
Carrie was wonderful singing that yodeling tune! We can just enjoy her singing this evening!
"I actually find Carrie Underwood pretty endearing so far. I mean, she clearly cares so so much about it and really eases up during the singing."
Nailed it!
Loving this! I'm watching with a bunch and we are chearing and clapping after scene!
That scene was wonderful!
Carrie can yodel!
Lots of fun. I hope it helps her settle into her performance a little.
What is this fake family commercial!?
"Don't judge me, I'm in college"
REALLY!?

I really liked that number...I forgot how well that song works without the puppet show.
Christopher Plummer is trending? He was great but he never had one nice word to say about Sound of Music.

Has anyone else noticed the sound being off? I feel like they can't find the balance with the effects and the actors talking and singing. Not a big deal just a minor complaint
People are complaining about the "song changes" for the bedroom

I wish they had guided Carrie to tone down the belting. R&H music is not written to be belted.
Great Twitter comments:
"These kids are scared of thunder and lightening but not Nazis? I'm confused." @InsertName_Evan
"Know what I'm ready for? @LauraBenanti, that's what." @PaulWontorek
"Live yodeling while skipping isn't the easiest. That's probably why you don't see it more often." @kbeninato

You forget how out of breath you can get on stage while performing. You can cover it up at bit on stage when you are not so close to the audience... but the camera catches every breath. This is really so difficult.
Yeah a movie is better when filmed over months and months..with retake after retake until you get it perfect. This is one night. It's a lot.
