EDIT: Yes, Kristen Neilson is fantastic, as are the children and the other servant. Also, DAMN, Friedrich can yodel. That's really weird.

You forget how out of breath you can get on stage while performing. You can cover it up at bit on stage when you are not so close to the audience... but the camera catches every breath. This is really so difficult.
Yeah a movie is better when filmed over months and months..with retake after retake until you get it perfect. This is one night. It's a lot.
