I am seeing the show on Saturday night, and while I am upset that Maria won't be there, I am hoping that Lisa Brescia will be going on as Marian. I was going to go back and see her during Maria Friedman's vacation anyway.

Very best wishes for a full and speedy recovery - look after yourself - WIW will have to look after itself in the meantime. Health is more important than work.

Warmest wishes to a wonderful, talented performer for a "refuah schleimah," a complete recovery of body and soul. I saw her in the role in London and I relish the memory of her moving and exciting performance.

Things will be fine. Stage 1 is nothing to worry about. She's very fortunate to have discovered it this early.

Once she rests a little, she'll be back in action! Can't wait to see her at the end of the month....
