Having just read a series of posts of people excited over a Swiss production of "Dracula", I'm curious...is there a musical out there which is so bad that you can't find ANYONE who likes it? Having seen people hotly defend shows on the order of "Little Women" and "Good Vibrations", I wonder if it's possible to come up with an example of a show so terrible that there won't be at least one post from someone who says, "you guys are crazy,I loved it!"
Just musicals? Because I can think of several straight plays off the top of my head that are pretty unloved.

Thou Shalt Not
Does anybody like it? Never saw it, but from what I've heard it's terrible.
I don't think it is possible.
Did you ever see the old movie of Mel Brooks' The Producers w/Gene Wilder and Zero Mostel?
At the end of 'Springtime For Hitler', when the ENTIRE AUDIENCE HAS A LOOK OF UTTER HORROR AND DISBELIEF on their faces, this one guy stands up and starts clapping enthusiastically... he gets hit on the head with a bunch of stuff, lol.
"what about Carrie, the musical?"
CARRIE has a pretty dedicated fanbase.

OH CALCUTTA! Well....if you forget about the tourest, if you can even call them fans.
I say it's impossible. Because as you said even with DRACULA there were a lot of people who absolutely hated it and were rather surprised to find that there were a select few of us who absolutely adored it and had been following it's progress since even before La Jolla and even though it didn't do well with the critics were so ecstatic that it finally reached Broadway. Had they stuck with more of the La Jolla material it could have faired better. It will be revised and it will be bettered, but will forever be known in regional and stock as "Dracula: The Broadway Musical". Same with "Little Woman" which I also liked it will always have that little extra "something" for being able to call itself "The Broadway Musical" even if it didn't do very well in it's first attempt. I think no matter what show you throw out there - there's always going to be either a large group or select few that worship and adore it.
Obviously the people who write, produce or work on a show at least like it a little bit. I think it is impossible for everyone to not like a show.
Did anyone acctually like Steel Pier?
That toad looks funny in a bathing suit song is fairly amusing
There is nothing wrong with A Year With Frog And Toad. It's a wonderful little musical and I hope it has a long life across the country.
Maybe, Bring Back Birdie?????? If it only last a weekend, then most people probably don't like it......

You hit on a wonderful point about the musical. I believe that there cannot be a show that is unloved by all. The majority or people can dislike a show but someone has to like it or else it would not exist.
I have to say that although, I did not like most of Thou Shalt Not, I did think there were parts of it that were amazing (Norbert Leo Butz being the biggest and brightest spot)

You know... compare with a lot of the stuff that's hit Broadway since it closed, Carrie looks pretty good.

I think it is impossible to find a show that not one person likes. Different people are pleased by different shows.

I don't think the original poster meant a show that literally no one likes.
Of the musicals mentioned her, my wife & I loved Dracula & Thou Shalt Not. I saw Steel Pier before we married & enjoyed it.
The rest we did not see

Are you crazy???!!! "Carrie, the Musical" has some absolutely wonderful material (from both the workshop and Broadway productions) which was betrayed by its awful "conceptual" staging. Betty Buckley was brilliant as Carrie's mother on Broadway. This is a show that really needs to be revisited.
