^ I understand their eagerness. The hardest part is waiting for your copy in the mail when others are getting advanced copies.
I received my copy this morning, as well. The CD sounds really wonderful. There are a few things I'm going to have to get used to, but apart from that I am really enjoying it. Most of the cast toned down their (awful) Spanish accents, which makes me happy, and they sound great.
"Shoes From Heaven" only includes a few verses that weren't in the show. Mary Beth Peil's beautiful opening and Sherie's final verses (both of which were in the show at the end of October) begin and end the song on the album.
Just as I did when I first saw WotV, I found "Mother's Day" to be beautiful. "Island," "Model Behavior" and "Invisible" are some other standouts. The only thing that upset me was that they cut out Patti's opening to "On the Verge," which I really liked. Other than that, it's a great recording of an enjoyable show.
Edit: On a side now, I would like to add that, while I also believe sharing is caring, I would only be willing to share some of my 'other' recordings of the show. This album was just barely able to be released for us. If we want to see similar releases of smaller shows in the future, we'll have to contribute and buy our own cast albums, directly and individually. Lo siento.

I"m really looking forward to hearing this OCR. This thread prompted me to visit the SK K BOOM website and pick up BLOODY BLOODY, which I've been enjoying today.
Regarding Piracy. IMO, sending a single song to someone is in the 'kinda okay' part of the gray area, because it does incite people to buy the whole recording. Sending a whole recording is simply theft.
As an indie filmmaker whose first feature was up on the torrents the same night it was released on DVD, I can assure you -- piracy hurts people directly, and not all of them are rich.

I'm surprised that the cd shipped so early!
Question - the album on Amazon says it's being release in May, however the mp3 page for the album says April 19th. Anyone know if the date just hasn't been fixed on the mp3 page on amazon or if it really is coming out on tuesday to download?
The album will be available for digital download on the 19th, yes.
Jake, ordering from Sh-K-Boom directly usually means you get it way ahead of the release date. That, plus the low cost they offer makes it well worth preordering from them!
Still waiting for mine!
I didn't get mine either! This is so frustrating.
It better come on Monday. I've been waiting months. I don't know how much longer I can take!
Same here! I'm in North Jersey, so I'm surprised it's taking this long.
So is the digital version really going to be available to download tomorrow? It doesn't seem to be listed on itunes yet.
STILL waiting. I am losing it.
Can any one just send me the lyrics to lovesick and model behavior? This waiting is killing me! Patience was never something I was very good at....
I'm just dying to hear the overture and full version Lovesick.

I'm so tempted to download it right now even though I promised myself I'd wait...ugh I need to get this soon! The clips sound great.
I'm debating on how badly I want to hear it. Too late to cancel my pre-order for the CD.
It's totally worth purchasing twice :) I downloaded it on iTunes and now I am gonna order it Sh-K-Boom!
