clearly this has all been a lot of misdirection to cover up the fact that she was attacked by an abominable snowman.

Haha...that is clearly the case

I am willing this to happen: Everyone reading this will see her play Desiree in A Little Night Music on Broadway, and she will be even more glorious than she was in the concert.
I have to say that her performance in "Cabaret" was remarkable. I will never forget the way she shoved the microphone stand to the floor at the end of the title number. I wish her all the best.
I really hope you are right PJ. From what I have heard from people, she was phenomenal and I really hope she gets the chance to do the revival (with Vanessa nonetheless!)
I can't help but think this is another event that certain media outlets blow out of proportion that is gradually downgraded overtime, and I can only hope thats true considering its about someone's LIFE which shouldn't be overdramatically speculated on.
For me, A Little Night Music can wait, I just want her to be OK first and foremost.
EDIT: Perez Hilton is now sticking with TMZs story, and dismissing the Time Out New York story.
I'm with you too. I would love to see her Desiree. Part of me is also thinking more and more that this is just some snowballing story now, and hopefully it's not as bad as some are saying. That's what I'm holding on to for now.
"Your lyrics lack subtlety! You can't just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!"
I have to admit, I checked out Perez's site after posters here mentioned him and am very amused by his appearent anger for Time Out's shoddy journalism. He includes the papers address and certain journalist's e-mail addresses so his readers can bitch them out. Pot, kettle? Anyway keeping fingers crossed for Natasha and her family. I hope these injuries are not as serious as some are reporting.
Oh, and I almost forgot to mention...I'm the good cop, he's the bad cop.

Yes. Newswires and such actually publish internal reports of major stories and who was first to post them, down to the second, and score themselves on how many times they were first. So...
I suspect a slow bleed subdural hematoma tho one of my docs pointed out that the "event" could have precipitated the fall and not vice versa.( ie a ministroke) If there is brain swelling- she is prob on massive amts decdron/prednisone/anticonvulsants and they'll have done a few burr holes. She may have been moved as they may have to surgically evacuated the clots.. It's about 2 hrs from Montreal to N.Y. in a private jet. G*d speed and G8d bless.

Now the NY Post is saying she's brain dead and they're bringing her home so her family and friends can say goodbye before taking her off life support. If true, (((
I would not expect any new info to appear for a few more hrs. If the plane left @ 12:30 should arrive by 2:30 w transfer and assessment/tests should be at least 5-6pm until there is any more FACTUAL news. ( unless some "source" calls w some deathbed reunion crapola) so let's declare a moritorium ( LOUSY word in this situation) on any more "news" items. Just hold a good thought...
I like to be positive, though I'm a clinical healthcare professional (and treated TBI's), so unless this is completely made up, I find much of this plausible unfortunately.
Getting the swelling (ie pressure) down as quickly as possible will be key to her recovery. As has been said - there are so many brilliant neurosurgeons in the major city hospitals that no one should give up hope.
I had the pleasure of meeting Miss R on a couple of occasions a few years back. I have honestly never been face-to-face with anyone as radiantly beautiful as she. The camera in her case is not really her friend because it has never come close to capturing her natural beauty. Add to that a lovely disposition and sense of humor. She's just too good to lose!
