Betty Gilpin (nominated three times for ‘Glow’)?"
Ding ding ding! Was just announced on Morning Joe, Betty Gilpin takes over for an 8 week run.
I’ve been a big fan of Betty Gilpin’s since Nurse Jackie and, while I have a hard time picturing her take on Mary, I’m so glad to see her take a big swing with her Broadway debut. I think she’ll be excellent.

this sounds about right, I hope the film is ala a PBS Playhouse recording from the 70's "on video" ect
apparently short notice, but Hannah went on tonight as Mary Todd Lincoln.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Hannah is on for both shows today. Cole posted that they have the flu.

If Cole has the flu then what does that mean for the $5 show today? Does that mean they'll be out for Mary's special birthday performance? That would suck.

Cole posted to Instagram that they'll be in the show tonight!
Anyone win the $5 lottery today? Judging by their videos, it looked like a zoo.

Just for fun, I checked StubHub to see top prices for some of Cole's final performances next week. $4377 for Thursday at 5 lol. Less expensive ones available, but several at 4K+ each day. And some right now at $7700 for their final performance on Sunday. It will be interesting to see how they drop and where they land.

Unfortunately, the showing isn't selling very well after Cole leaves. Hopefully word of mouth once the new cast takes over will change that.

I was there…..a woman a few seats down from me (3rd row center…in the middle of the row) got up and climbed over everyone to leave shortly after Cole started singing American Pie. Cole stopped mid song, paused for a beat, and looked at her and said “what…. Too sad? You got this far, but hey, American Pie is is just too much???!!!?” The place went NUTS
Cole was on fire the entire show, and gave an extraordinary performance, as did the entire company.
Original ''Oh, Mary!'' cast takes its bows. It had been announced that Cole Escola, Conrad Ricamora and James Scully were leaving today, but I didn't know Peter Smith, the male understudy, also was leaving. They all got bouquets. It's been rumored that Escola will return later, but when?

Co-signing this. It was the first time in the 19 times I’ve seen it that Cole (in character) ad libbed outside of the regular bits of the show.
The audience also erupted in a standing ovation when Cole came out after Abe was shot, and they were visibly moved, but also gestured to settle the audience down since there was still some show left.
