On Friday, July 22nd there is going to a panel at Comic Con focusing on "Beauty and the Beast" 25th Anniversary edition. Don Hahn, Gary Trousdale and Krik Wise (the producer and the two directors from the animated film) will be at the panel and there are rumors floating around that we MIGHT get a sneak peek at the live-action version. Here's hoping for some more footage or at least some production photos!

I don't think this has been posted yet, so here she is! Legit first pic.
The hair is totally wrong! And what is around her neck?

That is photoshopped like no ones business! The shoulders are what really make mad! They look too glossed and unnatural.

Nope apparently it's real. According to TVline (a reputable source) and credited to Walt Disney Pictures.

Although someone in their comments says it's fan art too. Who knows!?

Isn't that the same fake picture that's been floating around for what seems like a couple years now?

I've been googling and it looks like it's the fake! Sorry folks! What a crazy credit to Disney though on TVline! :S

I think the real news in that article is that a new trailer is coming.

It seems like the people at TVLine just have no idea that no pictures have been released and did a Google search for a picture for their article.

Does anybody think Audra might complete her EGOT with this film?

Her role/character, in all the incarnations Disney has done, it not a large enough part for a Supporting Actress; Emma Thompson would probably be the first of the supporting women.

Haven't heard anything new.
I can tell you that picture is fake. There was a glimpse of the dress at d23 and that's not it.

Wondering the same. Weird that the article said they would be showing a "fresh" trailer, but then there has been absolutely nothing about it online anywhere.

They basically showed the same trailer but with emma Watson commentary.

i hope we all get to see the D23 Expo footage soon from last year of the film. Dying to see Dan Stevens in his "beast transformation" prince attire and Luke Evans as Gaston.

My guess is we might get some fresh footage in mid-August to coincide with the release of Pete's Dragon. It would make sense to have a trailer for one Disney live-action remake paired with another.

well i know my fingers will be crossed anyway. it's strange how they have not released any photos from the film yet.
There is speculation about the cast's costumes about what they are going to look like in the film, due to new limited edition dolls being released the beginning of august.

Those look more like elaborate versions of the animated film costumes. Gaston's looks similar (I saw the D23 footage) but not quite the same, I believe.

Yeah, this is based on the animated movie. The dolls always exaggerated the characters

Oh, come one, those are new dolls of the animated characters. Look at their heads for chrissakes. It's like this whole thread is people posting obviously fake or irrelevant images.

If they go the Cinderella route, then we won't see anything else until November.
