Has Cabaret ever performed a number other than Wilkommen??
Watch it again. It was so obvious.

I was pretty meh about the performance from 'Rocky'. I'm very happy for Iglehart.
WOOHOO FOR JRB!! Bridges has 2 Tony awards!

How funny is it that the Cabaret performance is straight up at 9pm. So Alan Cumming is the Emcee instead of Eli Gold on The Good Wife. Hell of a difference between them haha
YAY for the best score!!! (I had no idea that was awarded during a commercial break. Seriously?!)
ps- so glad James Monroe Iglehart won... I loved his performance!! But honestly loved Danny Burnstein's too... and they are so different... I would have been happy with either!

Very disappointing that Best Score is not presented live on the awards.

I am hating how they are staging the production numbers this year.
Unfortunately it seems they only air Best Score now if there's a celebrate nominated.

I'd say Kenny Leon is an upset. Pundits were expecting Tim Carroll or John Tiffany to win.
Idina was way better than at the Oscars. Not pre-recorded.
P.S. I hear AHLiebross eats pea sauce and keeps sea horse.
I love the way they're staging the musical numbers. All of them. And I loved the opening number. Not easy to do nothing but hopping for that long. Wow!
I am disappointed if Idina really lip synced.

Weird about not presenting some of these awards on the broadcast. Doubt that Idina lip-synced. That was one person.

Vera is so adorable.
@ Jane2- i Can say whatever i want- just like you can- get over yourself.
- I have nothing against age, but being that awkward on stage is not cool at any age.
I think Iglehart was out of breath because he was very nervous and also because the Radio City stage is extremely wide so he had to do a lot of running. Although I'm not his biggest fan, the number is much better in the show.
I guess Roundabout wanted to prove that the nominators made the right decision in feeling that Cabaret was just a recycling and left it out of Best Revival. They even recycled their Tony number.

Yay Sophie! We should've seen this coming with Audra winning the same award ten years ago.

Idina did NOT lip sync..as she did not this morning either.
Idina sounded really, really deep though
And congrats Sophie
I was pulling for Celia. Maybe next time.
