I find it hilarious that Candy Spelling is one of the primary producers.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

That theatre is HUGE!

Hopefully Hayes will not play this like Jack McFarland yet again. I imagine he will in order to please the audience.

Upon reflection, perhaps this theater is just right. I mean, from the row 'R' in the rear mezz, their performances may just be tolerable.

Chenoweth is more bankable than she was when The Apple Tree ran, and I personally think this is a much, much better show. That said--choosing the Broadway Theater is a touch baffling. But hey--I'm excited she'll be back on B'way, even if paired with Hayes who may or may not have time to learn to, y'know...sing before the show opens.

I've never been to the Broadway Theatre, didn't realize it was that big. Do they really think Chenoweth and Hayes are enough names to fill a big theatre? I mean, they aren't Kate Baldwin and Cheyenne Jackson, but they aren't Jackman and Craig either.
I'm looking forward to seeing Hayes back on stage and hopefully this time he'll have a director that is able to really flesh out his performance.
Chenoweth is miscast and not nearly as exciting a choice as the other girls (age appropriate) rumored for the show were. Still, any chance to see Ms.Chenoweth on stage has to be taken advantage of as she's simply sublime, IMO, and she's bound to receive a love letter from Mr.Brantley.

Kristin didn´t sell out the Studio 54, but she didn´t have Sean Hayes by her side.
He is a big star and very well known thanks to Will & Grace.
Hopefully it will be a hit! It´s a gorgeous theatre.

He's certainly a bigger name than Chenoweth. But there's still no way in hell he'll be able to sell out the Broadway Theater.

He's not a "huge star" but he's definitely a recognizable one. This should be a marketing challenge for sure. Because people know Chenoweth as the original Glinda in WICKED or Olive Snook and people know Hayes as Jack. Not by their actual names.

ljay889, to answer the question mark section of your list of potential Tony nominees, I would have to say that that spot should have Kate Baldwin's name there. She is giving an amazing performance in Finian's Rainbow.
