I just tuned in. I'll have to catch it fully later but so far, I can't say that I'm impressed. I lost interest the moment it was announced that it was going to be PETER PAN in the first place, but I thought this cast might save it. But yikes, so far its just dead in the water.

I don't expect we'll SEE driver, she's the narrator.
And Matt....you are entitled to your opinion, why aren't those with a negative opinion able to have theirs?
The only thing that will determine whether we get more musicals on tv is the ratings. We all tuned in to watch, we did our part.
Truth be told: I only want more musicals on tv if they are quality. When they aren't, they are turning people away from experiencing live theater. How many of the people turned off by this show (regardless of age) might never give another musical a chance? Look how many people HERE are blaming the show itself.
I'm not disliking this as much as others, but I wanted magic....and I didnt' get it. Not by a long shot.
Ah, I didn't realize. Another change that seems unneeded. (Like Borle playing Smee -- which now has NO meaning since I'm sure no one recognizes him as the same actor (that didn't already know Borle.)

Waiting to watch here on the West Cost, but from the get-go I do not understand why they chose Peter Pan? Fun kids show in a live theater when the actors are flying. However, it can come off less than exciting on video. I am really hoping they don't do Music Man next year.
They need to do something along the lines of Bye Bye Birdie or Cinderella [maybe use the script from the current show?].
Had 'Annie' not been released this Month, that also would've been a good one for them to tackle.
