Whoppi really turned it out, i agree. i would've liked to have seen more AWARDS and less vignettes but i was fine with the overall feel of it all. she really knows her stuff! good for her :)

10 out of 10!!! I loved every minuted of it!! Thank You Whoopi for making the Tony Awards fun to watch again!! Let's hope next year is just as good.

Whoopi was 20 out of a 10! I really enjoyed how much her love of Broadway came through each time she was on stage and through all of her funny bits. It would be hilarious if she came back next year and did bits from In The Heights, Passing Strange, and Xanadu..

Agreed about the A Chorus Line bit. So much more could have been done. Maybe Whoopi as Sheila or Val in the opening. Anything that didn't include Mario Lopez would have been better.

At least they TRIED for humor this year. I have to say I LOVED Whoopi....she really does the teleprompter thing well! Ya gotta be loose to be the MC! A REAL actress! Amusing!
