I think it's foolish to wait until the fall to move. Espeically if it's as good as everyone says it is. It won't have the same following in 8 months. Either transfer now or don't.
Phillytheatreguy10, if you were not lumping the 3 shows in the same box, you at least said they were alike in being outside of the box which to me puts them in some other box. In any event, I think your reference was not to who are the front runners, and I don't think it matters. If Hamilton comes in, it is the only front runner, and this is really in no way parallel to Matilda. I don't really get your point about the denizens of this website: the fact is that ticket sales on Broadway will depend on folks unaware of all the lead up to the transfer (if there is a transfer this season or next).
Thank you Whatever2, but to be honest I think I'll be too annoyed to re-book if this is the case. The most irritating thing is that because of the falling currency exchange rate we will lose money with a refund.
HogansHero, I truly appreciate you telling me the point I was trying to make, I shall schedule a lobotomy immediately to extract you from inside my head.
Cat123, I think they should offer extension holders a direct exchange for a preview performance on Broadway of their choice. If they simply refund me and I have to go through the hassle of re-booking AT A HIGHER COST, I think I'll be very hesitant to give the show my business.

iluvtheatertrash, that would be fine but I'm only there until the 8th and only have 2 slots (other than te one I have this booked into) free. Will it be previewing in time? It's cutting it fine.
Can they really get If/Then out and this in in a week?! Surely health and safety would have something to say! Re-staging and re-blocking an entire show, building sets etc... Unless they've already begun the process has all the makings of a monumental disaster.
I'm reasonably sure the great minds planning this move know more about how to make it work than commenters on an internet message board. Go or don't go, if you don't want your ticket anymore, I'm sure somebody else will take it.
I hope they're going to do Hamilton in rep with 1776.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.
