As with all of these headlined productions, it’s safe to assume it’ll be extended and maybe a few times until it’s actual final performance."
Curious about this as I am all set to purchase for the 13th. If it is advertised now as the closing date would they let you exchange the tickets if extended?
Anyone know what could be happening at the Hollywood Pantages between Shucked in September and Phantom in June?

There was rumor of the show going to 7 shows a week, cutting her performances due to low sales. They still could at this point. Nicole will be doing her final Tuesday show to keep sales up the final week.

July 13 is it. They were seeing if they might be able to get Nicole to extend to September and make a full year, but settled on a brief extension with her doing all 8 the last week.
There were originally plans to see if they could get a replacement, but they realized quickly no one they'd get to replace her would sell as well so decided to go out on top.
Haven't heard anything about an LA run.

Definitely will not be making any money back by then.
The two seats next to mine for the final performance went from 399.00 to 599.00. A 229.00 seat just jumped to 349.00. Seats that were 484.00 are now 699.00 CRAZY

I don't think that's accurate. They had said from the get-go that Nicole was only playing till July and I'm sure that the motivation is to try to recoup by then, like they did in London with Nicole. From what it looks like, they're probably about half-way to recouping right now and hopefully this Spring/early summer as tourist picks up and Awards Season kicks in, they could do it.

They pulled the same crap with Merrily We Roll Along.

Where does one sit for this revival? Best in orchestra or mezzanine? How far off to the side creates any problems? What’s the best value?

It really is jumping fast as the 699 are now 799.

Use code Sunset2025 for a discount. I’ve seen this multiple times and I’ve mostly sat toward the front of rear mezz for less than $100 and that has been perfect. I once sat in the balcony. Do NOT do that. The balcony is like ten million miles into the sky. Worst balcony experience I ever had. A couple of times I went to TKTS and got orchestra center, toward the front. It was a good view, but not completely necessary. So much of this production is augmented by the giant screen that front or rear mezz is perfectly fine. And no matter where you sit, you will get to experience the amazing sound design. Enjoy!

I agree, I think the sides of first row rear mezz is best bang for your buck (I think it's row J but could be wrong, you'll see it on the seating chart anyhow). Both front mezz and midway back in orchestra should be great, but I do think they offer fairly different experiences because of where your natural line of sight is--mezz you tend to notice more things on the screen first along with overall choreo and formations, while orchestra you tend to notice more on stage first and have people facing you dead on, so it kind of depends what experience you want. I do think one of the moments near the end might be more impactful in the mezz just because of where you're situated in the theater but I don't think being in orchestra is necessarily a detractor (except for price)
The Friday, Sat and Sunday shows are already selling quickly.

Maybe she should've flat out said "I don't support Trump"
I have to agree. I’d love to “rise above” and separate the art from the artist, but that red hat absolutely killed the HUGE ANTICIPATION I had to see this show. I had it on repeat on Spotify and had a trip to NYC planned with Sunset as the main attraction; and all of that went away.
Luckily I live in LA, so hopefully the show comes here next with a different star…

Many gays sat this one out for this exact reason. And it's SUNSET.
people seriously want to re-hash the hat controversy (and mis represent what she said and what she was supporting again???)
Well hate to burst anyone balloon... but if the show comes to LA the only way it does is with Nicole in it.

Heard the Broadway cast is transferring to LA opening at the Pantages later in the year but not sure of dates

If it comes to LA it'll be with Nicole. The red hat bit is over and done with. People were pinning and projecting loss upset on her just after the election. It didn't effect the show. No drop in sales. Drops are not on her nights but Mandy's poor sales Tuesday nights. Otherwise, the show has been consistently packed - and continues to be.

Even Patti Lupone, a hardcore Trump hater, embraced Nicole and her performance. It turned out to be much ado about nothing.
