Dan'yelle would be amazing, but I actually think Rebecca Naomi Jones would kill in this role. At first thought most probably wont agree, but she has a great voice, she's a great actress, and she hasn't had the opportunity yet but I'm sure her comedic timing is great, as she is very personable in person. Her past characters have been much more dramatic, but for some reason I see her as an amazing Deloris.
I had a thought the other day. I wouldn't be surprised if Corbin Reid was approached about doing the tour with her recent success in the RENT revival. She was the original understudy for Deloris, but to my knowledge never went on. She's also been with RENT the longest of all the current leads so I wouldn't be surprised if she left soon. I'm not sure how she would do, but I forgot that she's an option.
Corbin is great, but I can see her wanting to stay in NYC with her success elsewhere. MJ Rodriguez, the original Angel, is still there, as well. So she is not the only one left. EDIT: Nick Christopher is back as Collins and Arianda Ferdandez never left as Mimi, either.
Alysha Deslorieux is Michelle and cover Deloris. She just graduated from CCM this year! That's amazing. Funnily enough, she was Joanne in their production of Rent. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7NsGlWbqRU

I wonder if they'll have a name for the Mother Superior although my friend suggested Dee Hoty who may not be a bad choice. I'm guessing we can expect a full cast announcement soon. I wonder, if not Raven, will Rashidra tour?

Seattle is not getting the tour until Aug 20-25, 2013! I swear, I don't know why we get touring shows here like a year or two past it's touring prime. I mean, "Fela" is coming at the end of May, 2013. It makes me so sad sometimes...
Rashidra and Lael van Keuren did a press event for the tour the other day, but that means nothing. They often send Broadway understudies out to those things to sing a song or two (heck, Wicked sends former cast members to do them).
would prefer Scott if they're taking from the Broadway company. Maybe Marable will play Michelle & u/s Deloris.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
jamiekennywicked, she's fantastic! Her voice is very gospel which works well. She kind of gets lost in the mix with the other nuns in the big scenes though.
I'd finally be able to live out my fantasy of sitting in an audience of worked up fans while screaming "YOU CAN DO IT 'TAIS!!!! GO HIT IT FANTASIA!!!!!! TAKE YOUR TIME, GURRRL!!!!" after every line she sings.

There is no turntable for the UK tour so I imagine there wont be for the US tour but I guess it's possible. The set is quite good on tour :) I'm interested to see who Mother Superior will be

Theres a lot more backdrops. The Life I Never Led and I Haven't Got A Prayer are in front of backdrops and theres no big gates in the convent. The different variations of the wall which rises on Bway (though doesn't on tour) is different. The police station is some filing cabinets which roll on and off. The statue of Mary also doesn't revolve.
