Alice is incredible in N2N and it's a tough call for me but ultimately, because of her constant string of stunning performance after stunning performance:

Don't be bitter that she lost! I think Alice is amazing -- but I'm not sure HOW anyone can even think about putting Alice in front of Audra.

Talent, Experience, Versatility. Audra has that in the bag.

jazzsquare-- Sorry, I didn't mean to be snarky-- I tried to apologize as I typed that post. I just wanted people to at least continue voting before getting turned off. And I should add, I do love Audra and Alice both a LOT so I won't be too disappointed either way. :)

I voted for Alice because she is one of the best actresses of our generation. I'm sure Audra is very talented too. I haven't seen her perform live, but she probably doesn't have four Tonys for nothing.

If Alice wasn't giving a critically acclaimed performance right now, would she even have made the finals? I love her and think she's wonderful, but nothing compares to McDonald's body of work and range.

Alice is certainly giving the female performance of the year, but Audra takes my breath away each time I see her. Despite being a gorgeous woman, she truly made me believe she was 'plain' in 110 in the Shade.
