I'd expect lots of cancellations. But also, there should be plenty of cheap tickets available for today's performance.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Haven't heard. Only reason they'd do this is if Patti has symptoms but is testing negative.

So someone on Reddit has confirmed Marsha Mason is going on as Sharon. Someone else also reported Halstead also has COVID, hence why both shows got cancelled yesterday instead of having Halstead going on.

Of course not! Not to the masses, at least. Marsha's filmography is largely irrelevant 50 years after its peak. Some of Mia's work has had a longer tail, but as we know from the box office grosses of LOVE LETTERS and this, she's not exactly packing 'em in either. But Mason knows the play (she's an associate director of it & close friend of Jack O'Brien), can step on with a script, means a little bit more than the understudy, and they get some press out of it.
Marsha Mason isnt a draw, but I think her name triggers enough memory bells that it still feels like youre seeing Someone and Not The Understudy--especially for the older crowds this play is surely targeting.
I know her mostly from her time on Frasier, but I can see her doing nicely with this role. Hope today goes smoothly. V curious to hear reports.
I suppose you’re right. Perhaps people remember her as Marty Crane’s girlfriend Sherri on Frasier. She is talented, though, that would be a draw by itself for some perhaps.
I wonder if Mia’s drawing power is tainted by the misogynistic image of her as a crazy and bitter ex.
Beyoncé is not an ally. Actions speak louder than words, Mrs. Carter. #Dubai #$$$

I assure you that she's not reading this thread in tears that more people are not wishing her well. Is this about you and Highland Guy or is it about Mia and the show? It certainly feels like you believe it's the former.

I certainly wish her well and you are right that we should all be doing that first and foremost, but to be fair my understanding was that she is fine, and tested positive due to ongoing screenings, not because she was suffering any symptoms, etc.

The public perception of W.A. is so radioactively toxic nowadays that I doubt there’s anyone with more than half a braincell who is viewing Mia Farrow in a negative light because of that.
If anything, it should have the opposite effect: her standing behind her daughter in the accusations & raising one of the great journalists of our time should give her an added boost of relevance.
Little weird that I found out through today’s Paulson NYT article on Mason that The Roommate has a higher capitalization than Stereophonic despite a smaller cast, much shorter runtime, and less “flashy” design elements.
I would love to see Marsha but not when she is holding a script. Didn’t the two women have understudies? It just goes to show you how the play is not the thing. I guess their was a fear of major ticket exchanges.

It’s a difference of $700K — close to meaningless in the grand scheme of things. Plus, some STEREO elements could be carried over from the PH production, and ROOMMATE has much higher profile people on the creative team receiving advance payments.
