re: The 2005 Tony Awards Thread

Okay, IMO, this was a pretty bad show. I mean as an evening of entertainment. Technically it was pretty bad. The direction left a lot to be desired and the performances were drab, boring and some were downright awful. Who wrote the material for some of the actors? Also Awful. Tony ratings have usually been low. I don't know what they will be tonight but if this the kind of show they intend to produce, I can see even less people watching next year.

So, no surprises this year ! Almost everyone who was predicted to win, won ! I am sorry Matt didn't win, but I am sure he will have many chances in the future ! At least I am happy that Piazza won the most awards !

Take care

Chitty Chitty wasn't eligible, Marquise.

Although it most likely wouldn't have been nominated anyway.

Let us make a deal: no more bashing of any show.
This is a thread to CELEBRATE theatre.
