its the truth.
NBC could do so much better with the Tonys.
the past 3 years the tonys has been draining
Show was not very good this year. Last year so much funnier and glam. Will never forget Kristin in the bubble telling Hugh to call her.
Well..that was a fun evening. But I'm off to a new episode of Queer As Folk. Ta ta all.
Ah, no one complains but me! There were storms here, and the stupid weather kept interrupting everything! The opening, performances, thank you speeches... I definitely cried... what crap... and Stupid Spamalot!!!! Makes me angry...
Congrats to Spamalot! I wish I understood why people love this so much, but I guess I'm the oddball. My personal award goes to DRS. Yeah, Norbie! I agree with others, this year's production of the Tony's was lackluster in almost every single way. I will forget it by Tuesday a.m.

As for someone who really has no emotional attachment to any of the nominated shows this year, I have to say that I enjoyed this year's telecast much more than last year's. I thought the performances were overall much better, and I thought the way they introed the shows was done very well.
Well, I will be going to see "Piazza" and "Spamalot" and "Spelling Bee".
Is there any kind of post-show on anything? Webcast?
Pretty boring show, I have to say sadly.

I will also Marquise.
Marquise...I assume you've already seen DRS then? If not, that should be on your must-see list!

Not enough Hugh. Last year's show was sooo much better. Maybe I miss Hugh being Peter Allen.

Goodnight everyone.
Pleasure watching the Tonys with you all tonight, made it interesting and enjoyable.
We bitch, we kvetch, but we know we are all hopelessly hooked. We love live theater, and that's all there is to it!
Looking forward to the shows I have yet to see, and the new season!
For whoever said there were no surprises......look at the best actor, featured actor and revival in the plays!!!!!!
I don't think anyone was expecting Piazza to come out as the top winner. Once again it was a victory for the underdogs.
Oh I have to go see Scroundels! I can't go see them all on one trip. I'm going to have to schedule two show's per trip. "Scroundels" is most def on my list. "Piazza" being first. My mom is going to be surprised! She didn't even know it was turned into a musical and I told her to tune in to the telecast. She liked what she saw. She just loves the original film.

Matty should have gotten Best Actor.
I wanted to hear his speech.
i did a quick search instead of reading everything to see if my wife was mentioned... NO EMMY-HATING!!
i love that woman
Ugh.
What a boring show tonight.
Great performances by Piazza and Spelling Bee, though.
But, ugh, Spamalot.
I mean, congrats to them, but they really don't deserve it.
Neither did Mike Nichols in my opinion.
I enjoyed the direction of the other three shows more.
Whatever.
Piazza got the most awards, as it should have.
