I loved Patti's hand clap, and the performance was pretty good, surprisingly.
Congrats to Paulo Szot!
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
I've been having some trouble getting the board to load but I just wanted to say that the performance of Xanadu was the best "out of context" performance I've seen them do. It absolutely trumped the Thanksgiving Parade and Regis & Kelly. While many of us, myself included, thought "Don't Walk Away" seemed an odd choice for the Tonys but after seeing them perform I think the chose wisely.

We must have different Gods. My God said "do to others what you would have them do to you". Your God seems to have said "My Way or the Highway".
I agree the current cast should've stayed home.. Yikes. But it was moving and congrats to Paulo!
I'm not gonna hate you in the magazines,
(I'm better than that)
I'm not gonna compromise my Christianity,
(I'm better than that)
You know I'm not gonna diss you on the Internet
Cause my momma taught me better than that.
CONGRATULATIONS MISS Patti... yeaahhhhhh!!! from Roman in Austin, Texas
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
