Can someone please tell me if the performances of Moulin Rouge , Jagged little pill and Tina the musical that were done in their own theaters were live or pre-recorded? There was an audience there. If live, did they get a full audience in for one song?

“Move on” (from my favorite show) didn’t work for me. Both great singers but, eh, I don’t know. Didn’t work for me. I find Platt hard to be into. Something about him. His ticks don’t work for me. And I didn’t think Rose sounded great. Didn’t suit her voice.

Pre-recorded. Tina shot last Saturday morning, Moulin Rouge on Tuesday night, and Jagged Little Pill last night. Yes, they got a full audience for one number, but, at least where I was at Moulin Rouge, it was a 2+ hour tape session to get the 4 minute performance on air. All three were friends and family down front; Moulin Rouge worked with a company that provides TV audiences in New York to fill the room, I believe Jagged Little Pill used Audience Rewards members to fill the room, not sure what they did to fill the room at Tina last week.
