Why is Warren not performing as Tina? This is so confusing. I mean, she’s singing the songs but she’s performing as herself (if that makes sense).

Uh... CBS, the song is called "The Best", not "Simply the Best".
Warren looks smokin' hot as per usual, especially in that gold outfit she ends Tina in. NY, you only have three more weeks to catch her!

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

So Tina just sold a boatload of tickets off a performer who is only doing the role for about 22 more performances-That was a good performance, and now I'm looking forward to being in their first audience back in 2 weeks, for one of the shows I missed before the shutdown

I imagine both Lauren and the show’s publicists strongly pushed against this, unfortunately. That it would backfire with too much hate. She’s getting a lot on Instagram and Twitter already just for winning, nevertheless performing.

Strange they announced Tveit as a winner but didn’t show us him winning? Watching on the East Coast.
Anyway, I like the shot in the theater vibe but it just wouldn’t work for a lot of shows.

That would be incredibly stupid of them. If you show that number on TV you’ll have a lot of people wondering why you’d not want that person to play that role. And it’s by far the best number in the show.

Because she’s not a good actress, and she’s just a pretentious, overrated, entitled ham.

Because she is out of f@#*s to give. She’s got her Tony and she is done. She’s doing her victory lap of a few weeks of performances but that’s it.

Moulin Rouge! wins Best Mickey Mouse Musical. Hadestown is still the last legit winner for Best Musical in my mind.
