Where's the rest of the nominations?

Thanks, not usually up at this hour haha. I had only found a billboard article directing me to Paramount+.

First batch and only a few surprises, but they are notable:
No surprises in Play or Musical, but I would have happily ditched Death Becomes Her for RWHC or Boop. Also think JOB deserved a spot in there.
Surprised Clooney beat out Gyllenhaal, but otherwise pretty much as predicted. Zero surprises in Actress-Play.
Dont remember what it takes to get six nominees, but Helen Shen's omission stings. Way more surprised that David Hyde Pierce was overlooked for James Monroe Inglehart, whose performance in a middling show was overshone by his standby's.... very strange. I would have expected Grey Henson to get in there before JMI.

It's supposed to be on the Tony Awards YouTube page https://www.youtube.com/@tonyawards
But super weird that it's in 2 minutes and nothing's showing up yet.

The Tonys site just directs to their YouTube page https://www.youtube.com/@tonyawards but there isn't a livestream up on it yet

Congrats to Daniel Dae Kim on making Tony history! First Asian-American to be EVER nominated for Leading Actor in a Play in Tonys' 78-year history.
Off the top of my head, I'm guessing this Leading Actor in a Play field is the most diverse in Tony history.
What a shame that Leading Actress in a Musical didn't go to 6 nominees, like Leading Actor in a Musical, so Helen J. Shen could've been included.

Not only that. Nearly half the lead nominees are people of color!

Congrats to Kim, but boy is it depressing that he is the first in Tonys history.

They started late, AND start with this interminable intro?

NY1 has picked up the live feed.

Thank you for this!

They spent so much time on the jokes that they’re sprinting through the nominations.

Surprised Phylicia Rashad didn't get in for Direction of a Play.

Happy for Justina Machado and Real Women's score. Sad that appears to be all they got?

They mostly loved Purpose and John Proctor. Some big celeb snubs. Glad to see the featured actress dual nominations for English.

The snubs of Helen J Shen and David Thaxton had me so surprised. Also no choreography for Sunset Boulevard?? I suppose most of the thrill least directional but still I think they deserved a nod

Maybe it makes up for her completely unjustified win for Skeleton Crew lol
