Can't speak for these specific tickets, but CFA is fabulous from the mezz with all the stage pictures and lighting. The Schoenfeld is so intimate that there's really not a bad seat.

i saw Come From Away via TDF way back when it first opened and the mezz seats we had were a bit far back but we saw/felt everything. Its very much an ensemble show that can be fully enjoyed from anywhere.

Posted: 10/5/21 at 11:13pmThank you all who replied in regards to CFA TFD seating. After all I decided to splurge a little and bought side orchestra seats since I'm taking my MIL to see the show and she's too old to sit far back.

Posted: 10/23/21 at 3:07pmMaybe I missed it on this thread, but are all TDF tickets digital or paper. It’s kind of confusing. When you go to the box office to pick up, do they send them to you via email or is it a paper ticket? When I saw Live at the New Am, they sent me digital tickets, but it seems as though Diana is pick up at the BO. Has anyone had experience with this lately? Are they checking confirmations and ID’s? TIA!!!

I've seen three shows via TDF over the past month (both Broadway and off-Broadway), and all three have been paper tickets that I've picked up at the box office upon arrival.

14 out of 32 currently-running or soon-to-be-running shows are on TDF right now, which is kind of staggering. (New titles include FLYING OVER SUNSET, LEHMAN, and CLYDE'S.)
Plus multiple dates for the Met Opera's Porgy & Bess and Eurydice, and the Rockettes.

Jagged Little Pill seats tonight were Mezz E 13 and 15, a fantastic view! Has anyone gotten tickets to Caroline or Change or Lehman Trilogy through TDF and where were they (hoping that the latter shows up again)?

Is TDF generally cheaper/similar price/more expensive than rush and/or lottery tickets? Considering joining but would appreciate thoughts on price comparisons from people who know better than I do! ![]()

Currently Broadway musicals are $57 and Broadway plays are $49, with a $4 flat fee per order (no matter how many tickets). Off-Broadway shows can range from $11 to $40, though I'd say most shows fall around the $32-36 range. Depending on availability you can buy up to 9 tickets.
I'd say rush and lottery are usually cheaper but TDF is nice in that you can buy up to weeks in advance and you're not limited to 2 tickets. I'd say the seats are generally better too, especially compared to rush seats which are sometimes in the boxes or partial view off to the side.
I have a friend who works at TodayTix so she doesn't have to pay fees on any TodayTix purchases, and some of the off Broadway prices are comparable, but TDF definitely has a wider range of shows. Also, if you get 54 Below tickets (or other similar places) you're waived from the food and drink minimum. So long story short I definitely think it's worth it!
