JJ: What happens to Laura Bell Bundy’s current understudy? Did she get shafted because she’s being replaced with someone from the show?

HD: I don’t know who her understudy on the show is. I don’t know if I’ve met her but normally what I think happens is if they don’t find a replacement for whoever is playing the role then the understudy will step in. But the majority of the time, the understudy stays the understudy no matter who is playing the role, which is nice.

Andrea, Adam, and Matt were not major Broadway stars. Idina was. The Wicked girls are/have been. All of the Legally Blonde girls will be. Same with Hairspray. Not that these shows are superior to other shows (trust me, I don't think that they are), but they make stars really quickly.

Why is "I'm Going Home" at the end? I thought that was made for Idol and Idol only.

That statement Haylie said about the understudies(aka Becky) really perturbed me. Now everyone might not like Becky as much LBB but she's definitely better than most of the girls on the reality show.

I think you're being a little harsh on Cassie S., yankees.

I think Autumn is fantastic, but I don't know if I can see her as Elle. I really hope Lauren, Cassie S., Lauren and Rhiannon get better because I think aesthetically they fit the role best.

I can't help it, I don't like Bailey.

I'm not saying that LBB's understudies don't deserve to move up into the role full time when LBB leaves, but is it typical of understudies to move into the part of the lead when the lead leaves a broadway show? I didn't think it was.
