i wonder when we’ll hear more about that second mixtape Lin mentioned... i’ve been listening to Hamilton for the first time in a long time the last few days and i’ve been enjoying it!
"Contentment, it seems, simply happens. It appears accompanied by no bravos and no tears."
Random, but I realized that Hamilton Broadway (I believe) is going to hit its 1,000th performance during its 8 p.m. show on Wednesday, December 27 in just a few weeks! So exciting!
They don't start performance until Feb....nothing to be able to know yet.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Well, yes you could know some things. Nick Walker is supposedly fantastic as Burr, as many have said. I’ve heard mixed about Joseph, but I’m sure he’ll be great! I believe those are the only two in the cast that have played their roles before. Shoba will be fantastic as Eiza. Ever since I saw her fantastic performance as Natasha in Great Comet, I knew she was perfect for the role! I saw Tarea Campbell on the Sister Act tour and she was fantastic so I’m sure her Angelica will be great. I’m excited to see this cast as they all seem very fit for their roles!
Does anyone know which cast will be in DC? I was looking at the tour schedule and with the 2NT starting in Seattle, you could kinda make out where each one was going where until right before DC where the tour stops don't overlap.
I thought it was said somewhere it would be the 2NT but I don't know if I'm recalling that incorrectly.

I love it too. Been listening to it on repeat. And I love that the proceeds go to a great cause. Never thought two of my favorite shows and performers would do a mashup. It seems like a very apt cause for these two shows to be benefitting as gun violence features prominently in Ham and the social issues of high school are dealt with in DEH.

No. Lin is "blah" vocalist (I am surprised he continues to get work singing, but I guess in the case of Hamilton there is no one to stop him) and the "Found" sections seem pretty "blah" without the ensemble.
"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022)
"Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009)
"Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000
