I just got an email saying that if you join Gold Club now, you get two tickets to Dames at Sea. I just bought the $19.32 seats at the event last week, but it's a good way to see Dames if you haven't purchased tickets already.
Problem is that once you joined , you are stuck for 1 year with mediocre choices
I quit after using it once last year.

Hi Mr. Roxy,
Scott from the Gold Club here.
Why not send us an email @ goldclub@theatermania.com so we can tell you about some new upgrades to the Gold Club that really make getting the most use and value out of the experience- plus some of the great offerings- which we cannot mention in a public forum- plus another little goodie... If you'd like.
By the way: Gold Club now offers $10.99 monthly memberships which can start and stop anytime you wish. Here's how to find more: https://www.theaterclub.com/ny/signup
Hope to hear from you!
Scott
I am aware of the monthly membership.
Will send you an e mail and see what happens.

HI,
I was wondering where you saw the Dames at Sea Promo? I went to the site and couldn't find it. THanks so much.
I received an email today with that information, but when I go to the site, I don't see the offer. Why not email Scott at goldclub@theatermania.com and ask?
The AOL panel bullsh!t has infiltrated Will Call Club. Let the madness end!

The worst part is when you google AOL build to find out more info, you'll find in the first few links a free site that actually pays people $10 an hour to attend the AOL build panels.
If anyone is still a member of GC check it now. Just got tickets to an amazing show.
"
Must've missed it.

Could a member of Play by Play send me a PM? I have a random membership question I'd like to ask.
Can a Gold Club member tell me if they've improved lately? Feel free to PM any good offers posted lately.

Hi Nasty Khakis,
Scott from the Gold Club here.
If you're speaking about how great-looking the Gold Club staff is in terms of "improved" lately- yes- it's a gorgeous looking team!
Beyond that, if you have any specific questions about the Gold Club, please send an email to goldclub@theatermania.com and we'd be more than happy to tell you about improvements, new additions, great stuff ahead, and more... Hope to hear from you, Nasty!

I just joined THeaterMania Gold Club for a month just to try it. More or less anyone have a clue when the site gets updated. Wish there was a place I can set it to email me when a broadway show becomes available. Probably asking to much.

Hi Medtron,
Scott from the Gold Club here. I don't think you're asking too much at all!
We update the site throughout the day. If you were to check in 3 times, morning, noon, and early evening, you are most likely going to see different choices- and we encourage that.
Broadway, of course, is always the icing on the cake. Send an email to goldclub@theatermania.com and we'll give you a couple of member-only tricks on how to guarantee you'll get a pair of whatever Broadway the Gold Club has the next time it appears in the club.
Look forward to hearing from you!

Thanks for the input Scott . I have been a member of TheaterMania Gold Club for about 10 years now. I have to admit this was the year I wasn't going to join again because I felt like the offerings were just not there anymore. To me it all started when they changed their website. I did call them right before I was going to renew asking them to explain to me what has been happening. As always, their customer service was top rate and she said they were going to fix the site soon. That has been done but I still hate this layout and their offerings have not been up to par. With that said, I have continued to stick with it and have gotten a couple of good deals lately. I still think it's one of the best bargains in New York especially if you can book last minute tickets, if you're on the site at the right time. They are an incredibly friendly group and they always get back to me when I touch base. I know it's going to come back as being the premier place to get tickets... I hope it happens soon. Hang with it if you can. I definitely am, I still love it, with fingers crossed. It had a little bit of a slump but after 10 years I have gotten all my money back (as far as offerings) and their customer service is still amazing. Like I said fingers crossed for a better year... They're off to a good start.

Does anyone know if the shows available on TheaterMania Gold Club are different based on whether you have the monthly, standard, or premium memberships? Thank you!

Hi Vintage,
Scott from the Gold Club here. Thanks for your question!
Simply put: No difference whatsoever. The same offers are available to all members no matter a monthly or annual member. Of course we could also say annual members will always see "more" offers since they have longer memberships. But in general, one for all, all for one.
Hope it's helpful and feel free to email us at goldclub@theatermania.com with more questions.

Of all the clubs, including the Will-Call Club, which seem to offer the best seat locations? I don't belong to all so am not in a position to judge. Any thoughts?

Mamaleh - I belong to every club, and have for many years. Can't say which, if any, gets better locations. For Broadway, Play by Play routinely pre-assigns so it doesn't matter when you pick up. Gold Club is first come first served and is always helpful trying to give the best of their assigned seat locations to those on the front of the line. IIRC, Theater Extras does not generally pre-assign, and you have to take what they hand you and there is no conversation about it. In other words, with Theater Extras you can be first on line but end up with the worst seats. Depends how they've arranged their stack of tickets. Audience Extras is often a box office pick up, and some box offices do give early birds the best seats (especially MTC's Friedman box office).

Can someone who belongs to gold club PM me? I have a question
Swing Joined: 3/23/15
Been a member of many of the services for years. I don't think any one service gets better seats than the other. I am pretty sure they are randomly given to them by the venue.
I will say I think Play-by-Play gets the most amount of Broadway shows.

I think we are not supposed to mention what specific shows are being offered.
