She plays herself in everything. Guess they saw that.
Oh how hilariously absurd. CJ Cregg, Margaret Scully, Bonnie Plunkett, Loretta, Barbara Fitts, Sally Lester, Charlotte Phelan, and Ouisa Kittredge--- yep all the same. Exactly the same.

Right. The frigid wife of a closeted doctor in the drama, MASTERS OF SEX, is exactly the same as the (sometimes reformed) alcoholic, drug-abuser she plays in the comedy, MOM. :roll eyes:
Allison Janney really is upsetting. At least she is already a Tony nominee.

Amber Grey and Brittain Ashford for Great Comet both deserved nominations

People may make fun of me, but I almost cried when Christy wasn't nominated.
Really upset about Jennifer Laura Thompson. I think she or Brittain Ashford or Amber Gray should have been nominated instead of Mary Beth Peil.

And she has a suitcase full of Emmy Awards. She'll find a way to go on...

Disney and Broadway - I'm right there with you, but I'm definitely still a little in shock. I kept going back and forth about it because I knew it was going to be tight because I knew they'd never not nominate LuPone and Ebsersole plus Bette was a lock leaving the other two nominees to be Eva, Laura, or Christy with Denee being favored for the fourth slot. I am thrilled for Eva, but was definitely expecting Christy to snag that last slot. That being said, I hope Anasastia performs nonetheless.

Yeah Christy was definitely the one I'm taking the hardest, not only because her performance is worthy but also because she just seems so sweet.

I met Christy at the stagedoor and she is seriously on of the sweetest people ever. I never take awards/snubs all that seriously but man, I'm just so disappointed about her not getting the nomination. She tweeted congrats to all the nominees earlier and it was lovely to see all the responses she got and how many fans she's got.

She literally held my hand and gave me advice, then gave me a hug, when I met her. Honestly, if everyone was more like Christy Altomare, the world would be a much nicer place.
I agree I think Christy should have gotten a nomination as well.
I was also hoping Fred Johanson from Sunset Blvd would get a nomination too. His portrayal of Mayerling is the best I've ever seen of any Sunset Blvd productions.

I agree that it's not a surprise that Mary-Louise Parker didn't get nominated since Heisenberg closed so long ago and the category had so many strong contenders.
I disagree that it's not one of her stronger performances, though. Critical consensus (to be taken with a grain of salt in relation to nominations) seemed to think that it was her best stage performance since Proof sixteen years ago. I saw Heisenberg twice, once Off-Broadway and once at the Friedman, and though she was fantastic.

I am so butt-hurt by this whole Christy Altomare thing. I also just realized she spells her name Christ but with a "y". I was so excited I got great Tony tickets. I hope she at least preforms!

I'm glad to see so much love for her here! I'm sure there's nominations and wins in her future
When I saw her again a couple weeks ago, Christy remembered me right away and she literally started crying and went on on how of a beautiful soul I am and how I've been here the whole for the show. Christy is literally the greatest <3
I am happy for Eva though, but I am extremely shocked because of the reviews she got. It's too bad Jon Jon isn't joining her.

Omg all these stories, I'm in love with Christy lol.
At least she seems like the type of person who would have very little disappointment and instead be happy for everyone else.
