Gideon Glick not being nominated is just wrong. I was also expecting someone from Indecent (Lenk) or The Play That Goes Wrong to squeeze in there.
I think the Tony nominating committee essentially viewed SUNSET as a limited engagement concert production. The big event was Glenn's return and she wasn't eligible so perhaps they just didn't pay it much attention to it.
Obviously they didn't care much for CHARLIE, AMELIE, ANASTASIA or BRONX TALE.
Janney's snub is an abomination.
Furious that Christy was snubbed for Anastasia! And shout outs to John Bolton and Jon Jon Broines.

I'm also really surprised Kate Whoriskey wasn't nominated. I thought she was a sure thing and not Gold. I guess they just really liked ADHP2.
This might be just me, but I think Richard Topol being left off is blasphemous.
Jon Jon Briones, Gideon Glick, Christy Altomare, Mary-Louise Parker, and Amber Gray. Shocked at all five of them not getting nominations, though most particularly Glick and Gray.
Bandstand got shut out other than choreography, right? Man. That show's gonna close too soon. It's a shame.
I finally caught ANASTASIA over the weekend and while Altomare is good in it, I can't really say that I thought her performance was better or more deserving than the women who were nominated. The committee obviously didn't think much of the show as a whole. I personally thought it a bit Disney lite, but that's just me.I did think Mary Beth Piel was wonderful though and am very happy she showed up this morning.
No one? Everyone was considered, but the aforementioned people in this thread didn't make the final cut.
Jon Jon Briones and Christy Altomare for sure but my really big personal rage snub this season goes to the trio of Amber Grey, Brittain Ashford, AND Caroline O'Connor ALL getting bumped out of the last featured actress slot.
Shows that have closed already are usually at a disadvantage come nomination morning. So I'm not really surprised at the SIGNIFICANT OTHER snubs. It wasn't really a show that appealed to the( mostly older) Tony nominating committee.

Richard Topol and Allison Janney got screwed.
There's also no way I'll be convinced Miss Saigon deserved that revival nod over Sunset Boulevard.
I'm shocked (in a good way) that Eva got in, despite the mixed reviews that she got and the fact she didn't get nominated for any other awards show
I'm so upset that Gideon Glick didn't get a nomination. His performance was absolutely heartbreaking, and he represented a younger demographic. He deserved a nomination, at least.
I'm glad many here beat me to it. I have never felt such rage as this. To not honor Gideon Glick for his performance in Significant Other is outrageous. This guy didn't leave the stage for over two hours and gave, IMHO, a beautiful, touching performance. I almost feel like not watching the ceremony. I won't name names but there are 2 nominations in that category that I don't get. And I saw both of them.
Nothing left to say. Except, shame on you whoever does this "nominating".
Yeah, here I was thinking Glick and Janney both had good shots in their respective categories. There goes that.

Oh, and I thought Nick Cordero had a chance for Featured Actor nomination.
