I have never liked Patti LuPone (Except for the Baker's Wife)
I have never liked Elaine Paige
And I don't care even a tiny little bit when someone calls it a "Soundtrack" instead of an "Original Cast Recording"

'Wait' is one of Sweeney Todd's strongest songs.

I think Adam Guettel is a dreary composer (diminishing musical ability with each succeeding generation in that family) and was bored silly by BLIGHT IN THE PIAZZA.
The only times 1776 was enjoyable theater was when they weren't singing.

I think we could find Bin Laden in 5 minutes if the Army just blared the cast recording of BKLYN into the caves and let Eden Espinosa's hideous screeching scare him out.
The only thing Nathan Lane has done in the past 10 years that's been even remotely enjoyable to me was GODOT.
I think THE PRODUCERS was the single most unfunny show ever written combined with two of the most bland performers ever born.
When Idina Menzel opens her mouth as wide as she does to sing all I can think of is trying to hit tennis balls in there.
If I were a 10 year old girl, I'd totally hook up with James Barbour.

I enjoyed "Little Women" the musical.
If I listen to Kerry Butler's nasally voice for too long, my ears hurt.
I absolutely LOVED Deaf West Theater's production of Pippin.

I agree with AndAllThatJazz. "Wait" is actually my favorite song from SWEENEY TODD. (Well, minus HBC completely butchering it in her dumb whisper voice. But that whole movie was just... ugh.)

I'm not a fan of Patti Lupone.
Of what I've seen of the original, I like the 2006 revial of 'Company' better.
I hate 'The Phantom of the Opera'. I think it's crap, though I am fairly fond of the movie.

And I don't care even a tiny little bit when someone calls it a "Soundtrack" instead of an "Original Cast Recording"
I feel exactly the same way. Of all the things that irritate and annoy me, calling a cast recording a 'soundtrack' is not one of them.
Also:
I don't get all the hype over Billy Elliott
I enjoyed the 2003 Little Shop of Horrors revival, despite some odd directional and creative choices.
I find some parts of Les Miserables to be boring. Especially the "Love Montage"
I liked the Sam Mendes revival of Gypsy and didn't think it was the travesty Arthur Laurents and others make it out to be.
I like the Sweeney Todd movie.(It's strange how a lot of theater people I've come across don't like it but many non-theater people do)

9 TO 5 was, structurally, a mess that somehow still managed to completely entertain me. That book...ugh.
Bernadette Peters was a fantastic Mama Rose.
MARY STUART is only worth the price of admission for the two lead performances. Everything else kinda bored me.
PASSING STRANGE was awful although Eisa Davis should have been nominated for a Tony for her performance. She gave the best performance in that show and didn't get any recognition.
A good 80% of SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE bores me to tears.
I loathed the Roundabout's revival of WAITING FOR GODOT but enjoyed HEDDA GABLER to a certain extent.
John Doyle's performers-as-musicians theme worked far better in COMPANY than in SWEENEY TODD.
WICKED should have won the Tony for Best Musical over AVENUE Q.
This may or may not be unpopular but Tonya Pinkins' performance in CAROLINE, OR CHANGE was the single best performance I've ever seen on a stage. And she didn't win the Tony, Drama Desk, OCC, or any major theater award for it. The biggest travesty from major theater awards in the last twenty years.
I loved Sean Hayes in DAMN YANKEES at City Center. He was a riot.
LaChanze deserved her Tony for THE COLOR PURPLE.
Brooke Shields was better than Donna Murphy in WONDERFUL TOWN.
HAIRSPRAY: the movie was totally underwhelming.
---
I'm sure I'll think of more.

"'Wait' is one of Sweeney Todd's strongest songs. "
I actually totally agree.
I hated Hairspray the movie.
I really liked the movie version of Sweeney Todd.
I'm dying to see Rock of Ages.
Cats is the only Andrew Lloyd Webber I enjoy.
I love RENT (but I think that's the popular opinion, si?)
I like Gavin Creel as Claude better than Jonathan Groff (something I've gotten into many fights about).
And I think Robert Pattinson is ugly and a waste of time. And I like Jacob Black better than Edward Cullen.

I love Grease. My very first musical.
I really want to see Rock of Ages, mostly because of Wesley Taylor.
I adore JRB music.
I actually liked 13 a lot.
I hate POTO music, save "All I Ask of You" and "Masquerade."
No matter how much I love Rent, I would listen to tick, tick... BOOM over it any day.
Loved both Hairspray and Mamma Mia movies.
"Solla Sollew" from Seussical is vocal perfection.
Kris Allen deserved to win American Idol =)
