Re: Warriors tix?

First preview is nearly sold out.

Re: Warriors tix?

Email I received from the Hamilton Fan email list has The Warriors presale code CONEY. Prices not cheap. For a Sat matinee in April: Orch $500-$175, Front Mezz $500-$290, Rear Mezz $230-$149, all including fees.

Re: Warriors tix?

The prices for this are absolutely insane, but weekday prices are much lower by comparison. Like $100 less for the same seat on a Saturday

Re: Warriors tix?

I got a pair in side orchestra (G10-12, which have a decent view based on aviewfrommyseat.com) for a weeknight just after opening for $195 each. That doesn’t strike me as too awful given the demand. The same pair is $185 for previews and $230 for a post-opening weekend.

Re: Warriors tix?

Not my favorite theater for sightlines so I bit the $390 bullet for two seats in row F right orchestra for opening week. A birthday present for moi.

Re: Warriors tix?

Looks like I ended up with tickets for the last preview. Not sure if that’s good or bad, but imagine it will be pretty much locked at that point

Re: Warriors tix?

These prices are just getting stupid now.
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

Re: Warriors tix?

We grabbed Row R on the right side (10 and 12) because we’re cheap ($163 per ticket for a Wednesday). Last day of previews but the matinee.

Re: Warriors tix?

Managed to get rear mezzanine tickets second preview on the right hand side in row M seat 2 for $99...not too bad if you ask me

It'll absolutely be locked, and in fact the last few previews are the performances to which reviewers are invited. Enjoy!

Shows are generally frozen before their last week which is when the press go to see the final versions of shows to write their reviews.

Best time to see a show, in my opinion.

Re: Warriors tix?

Why are they ripping us off?

How can LMM still regard himself as a champion of the working class?

Ticket prices are outrageous and out of control -- I'm not trying to defend them at all. But with that said, LMM isn't solely responsible for ticket prices; it's not as if he's the sole, lead producer who's making these decisions. I'm sure, as he's done with Hamilton there will be some reduced-price scheme -- but it's still commercial theatre, with a hot property. And I think his philanthropic works speak to his commitment to the working class.

Can't he work with producers that DO NOT rip off their customers? Do such people exist? If not, can't he juut produce it himself at a fair rate? Could Usnavi afford this show?

Re: Warriors tix?

I am boycotting these prices. Sad, I wanted to see it. Not THAT much though.

Re: Warriors tix?

I was able to get in with the Capital One code, the first six numbers of my credit card. Still expensive! I'm going to hold off buying.

Re: Warriors tix?

In partnership with Broadway Direct, Warriors will be offering an affordable-ticket initiative: $79 ($68.25 ticket plus $10.75 handling fee), available via lottery beginning on January 11, 2027. The show will also sell the first two rows for $19.79 via lottery, beginning March 9, 2027. More details to be announced at a later date.

Re: Warriors tix?

Isn't the capitalization on this one of the most expensive ever?

Re: Warriors tix?

The same seat I had Left, Mid Mezz Row B on the aisle during previews for "Sweeney Tood" is 60 bucks more for "Warriors" and I suspect it may go up after opening, especially if there is a demand for tickets.
