Welcome Anthony, so glad I finally got my laptop back so I could check out this thread. I'm a huge fan and am really looking forward to the movie, especially if you are invovled.
Just got done watching David Searching and must say you are brilliant in it!
I don't have a question as of yet, just wanted to let you know how amazing I think you and add my welcome to this thread!

Sleep is highly overated and not necessary to sustain life. It's all about seeing how long you can last and still have logical and intelligent conversations without sleep.. I lasted 44 hours before I got bored and decided even though I wasn't tired I should go to bed.. Haven't really slept much since either..

Ok...so I'm new and have spent the past hour or so reading this whole thread and omg...it's so exciting! Anthony-everyone's already said thank you, you're wonderful, ect., but I must put in my own word and say that I admire your work so much and I truly believe you are an ELEPHANTASTIC actor/singer. At first I must say, I was a little wary about a rent movie coming out, but if you, Idina, and Taye are all going to be in it, I'm terribly excited.
Ok ready...I have a tiny, stupid story about meeting you, but this whole thread just reminded me of it. I was with a summer camp I was conseling at (in CT) and we went to see a show(don't remember what it was) but you were there and we had this one member of our camp go up and ask you if you were indeed the famous Anthony Rapp. Instead she asked you if you were anthony rat haha but still, we were all so excited to know that it was you--you told us you were anthony rapp, "with two p's".
Anyways, sorry for babbling, but I have some questions.
~What was working on Charlie Brown like? I mean, it's kind of VERY different from Hedwig and Rent.
~what did you think of interlochen...I'm considering applying and I'd love to know if it helped your skills.
~What's being on tour like? Better or worse than performing on Broadway?
Thank you so much for doing this!! You have no clue how much hearing your responses to everyone's questions made me day...you know this is extrodinarily nice of you!
Salutations ALL!!!
I'm going to see Anthony's show tonight in Seattle!!! I will let you all know how AMAZING it was sometime tomorrow!!!

"So now every waking cell in my brain is obsessed with the election and I can't possibly write answers to the questions now..."
that's too funny...
seriously, like every fiber of my being is going insane waiting to find out the results and hoping beyond hope that a winner will be declared soon (today!?!) voting this morning felt so...empowering.

Hmm....
This electrion craze made a frivolous question pop into my head about voting and people who are on tour during an election, election year... (As with any other question I may ask, this need not be answered, but it just flew into my head anyway...)
Anthony, did you and you cast/crewmates have to vote via absentee ballot?
(Of course assuming they don't reside normally in Seattle, where you said you now are, and I doubt they do...)
*Anxious over election results, too, (who wouldn't be, unless they know something we don't)...two very close elections in a row is not common...*
Since today is Election Day and Anthony (A*K*A Whiteboy Spice) is in the touring company of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. Here is a new rendition of the song, "Final Ultimo (Don't Feed the Plants" that I, spider (with help from Howard Ashman of course ), have come up with just for this occassion.
FINAL VOTE (DON'T VOTE FOR BUSH)
CRYSTAL, RONNETTE, CHIFFON (at a voting booth):
Subsequent to the events you have just witnessed
Similar events in cities across America
Events which bore a striking resemblance
To the ones you have just seen- began occurring.
Subsequent to the events you have just witnessed,
Unsuspecting Republicans from Maine to Washington DC
Made the acquaintance of a new breed of President
And got sweet-talked into feeding him votes.
Thus the republicans worked their terrible will
Finding voters who would feed them their fill
And the republicans proceeded to grow and grow- and grow
And began what they came here to do
Which was essentially to
Win Cleveland and Chicago
And San Francisco and New York
and where you live!
COMPANY:
He may promise you protection and work
social security, yet he's still a jerk.
But whatever he promises you
Don't vote for Bush.
He may promise you education
Tax cuts, and less inflation
But, whatever he promises you
Don't vote for Bush.
Look out! Here comes Bush number two!
Look out!
W. BUSH:
Here I come for you!
COMPANY:
Hold your votes and hang on to your soul
Something's coming to eat the U.S. whole
If we fight we still got a chance
But whatever he promises you
Though he really tries hard to do
Please, whatever he promises you
Don't vote for Bush
THOSE WHO OPPOSE BUSH:
We'll have tomorrow
COMPANY:
Don't vote for Bush!

It's Whiteboy Spice (not Whitespice Boy)...right?
*checks post* Yeah hehe... (just a little misspoken line, I'm not criticizing or anything, it's no big deal)
BTW, nice lil' ditty there...(note a pinch, an ever so slight hint of innocent sarcasm)
*Thanks for the idea, I'm coming up with one of my own now...(but depending I may not post it here because I've sworn off politics at BWW, unless it's unoffending and still okiedokiesartechokies...hm...)*
EDIT: Like I said, no biggie:) (it's the type of thing you mess up in typing the post and realize after you hit the send button hehe)
