Thanks for all the filming info!
This fall, I played Seymour in our high school production of LS and our cast went to see you in Dallas. (I love this show!) I was wondering if you had any fun stories or mishaps with the show/lyrics/Audrey IIs...and which is your favorite Pod (mine is definately Pod 2, although ours was pretty ghetto).
Also, concerning Rent, I haven't really heard yet Chris' reasoning for setting the film in the 80s...any particular reason? (it IS originally in the 90s, right? or am I totally wrong on that?)
Last question---I've read that Chris is bringing in the topic of gay marriage, unless that has changed. I didn't initially like this too much, because to me, it does not matter...it isn't part of the message of the show, in fact, in my opinion, the homosexuality in Rent is accepted by pretty much all the characters and not really an issue...it just is, love is what it is, so why make it an issue in the movie (especially one that may drive away certain viewers, who could otherwise fall in love with the message). Any thoughts on the subject?
sorry for ranting!
