I think it was over 200 per seat for Spamalot in the summer. I only pay 100 or more if in NYC, but yes, I am all for the discounts.
$100.00 even for Wicked (orig. cast). Always do discounts or comps.

$100 for a concert for charity.
I've attended plenty of black tie kind of events for $150 or $175 but not related to theatre.
For a theatrical performance (for myself) the most I have spent is fifty or sixty-some dollars. I've bought theatre tickets on behalf of others for $90.

I paid $100 to see Wicked.
I spent $101 for Gypsy tickets 3 times (Actor's Fund, Final performance, BP's Birthday). The other three times I saw it, I paid $66.

$100 for The Producers, row F. Without a *doubt* worth it.
$107 to see the Spamalot tour in Boston this April.
$190 (each) for Wicked tickets (through a scalper ticket site). They were really good orhestra seats (not Premium level, but still, very good). It was a bridal shower/birthday present for 2 friends who came to visit me in NYC. Both were DYING to see Wicked, so I splurged, and treated them. It was worth it.
Honestly, $40 to a bunch of shows. Anything higher than that were gifts Id never pay $100.
I didn't pay, but about $250 for Kristin Chenoweth's last show in Wicked. It was a gift, I'd never spend that much myself.
ok, so this wasn't just the cost of the ticket, but when i wanted to see a show in london i paid around $700 for flight/housing/ticket
I wouldn't pay ten dollars for tickets to Wicked. Insane!

My mom paid something like $101 a piece for the second week of Wicked in Chicago. But my aunt just got 6th row center tickets to Odd Couple in March (when I'm there on Spring Break) and she dropped something like $215 or so a piece through her theatre group. Also when we see Sutton at Feinstein's it'll be at least $115 a piece because of cover and minimum food purchase. I'd never be able to see all the stuff I do without her. Planning on utilizing rush/SRO for a few shows.
Cheers,
C.
Ouch. All of these posts make my wallet cry. The most I've ever paid for a ticket to a B'way show is $45 for Taboo way back when, and the only shows I've yet to see on B'way are The Pajama Game, Tarzan and The Color Purple. Oh, and I've seen Wicked 4 times and never paid more than $25. Just thought I'd put that in there.
I didn't pay for it, but $ 350.00 for a second row Wicket seat in the holdiay seasons.
$500 for a fundraiser thing, but Barbara Cook performed a 1 woman show.
I paid $500 for a premium seat for the final 3 hour segement of the Wall-to-Wall Sondheim celebration. By the time I got around to getting a seat, the $250 seats were gone. The concert was worth every penny...

$100 each for Wicked, but they were a birthday present, so I wasn't the one actually paying.
$110 for almost everything i've seen on broadway. Only the best for me. Just kidding!
200 for a couple of things. ::blushes::
