that was a long time coming... too long i think. I like the Popular one. And i kind of miss the closeup of Shoshana rising. Ive noticed that the subtexts to the pictures let in on a whole lot more detailed plot points than they have... like the webmaster is getting a little careless in what s/he tells about the pictures. possible spoilers?

Shoshana is worth it. She is awesome. She does have some trouble with the really low notes (the last note of I'm not that Girl... eh) but she really feels the character and has an awesome voice. I went to see Idina but Shoshana was filling in because of the stage mishap, and i wasnt dissapointed in the end. Plus, she's friendly at the stage door.
I would hesitate to go see David Ayers or Rue McClanahan though. Megan Hilty is great and I still thing Michelle's got it, though apparently she's been really bored lately.

second to the last row, 2nd circle from the left... megan and david. NOT the most flattering pic of hilty in that costume.
and you should check out the new cast, if anything to form your own opinion about them, shoshana included. People on this board could argue for days about who belts which note better and who looks hotter green and so on... but I'd much rather go and see for myself. just a thought, enjoy the show!

Posted: 8/19/05 at 10:22amI saw it in April and Shoshana was fantastic. She sounded better live than Idina did on the cast recording. She definitley owns the role and she keeps increasing the stakes. Go see her!

Posted: 8/19/05 at 10:31amThose pix werent worth waiting for. Most were leaked out already and used by bway.com or whatever and the others were old ones that have been up there since Shoshana came or even earlier. There were about two that I really liked because I havent seen them.

I do love me some David, he's so pretty.
Megan's just so CUTE! The whole Popular scene is hilarious. I too thought some of the ones of Shoshana were the old ones .. which is kind of annoying. Gawsh, they haven't had pics up since the end of May and they couldn't retake a couple?
Somewhat disappointing, but it's worth it for some David and Ben.

Ahhh...Ayers looks better than ever. They changed the white Galinda costume! I liked the other skirt better.

Rue looks AMAZING.
And lets face it - Megan isn't a toothpick - so that dress dosen't look the best on her. I hope that dosen't sound rude, she is such a pretty young lady though.
