Natasha Richardson as Desiree in a fully-staged production of A Little Night Music.
YES. That's really all I have to say. I heard she was wonderful in the concert version, and she would've been brilliant if she had been able to do the role in a full production.
I love Nathan Lane would kill to see him do Zsa Zsa in La Cage, maybe him and Harvey could fill the roles after Jeffery leaves!
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

Um Mary Louise Parker as Diana would be AMAZING! If she can't sing it then they should go back to the golden days of movie musicals where they dubbed the voice with someone else.
With a little mascara...all your dreams come true.
I had always hoped that someone would have gotten together a production of "Coco" with Dixie Carter (even if it was a concert version).
I had always hoped that Georgia Brown had been able to do more. I would have loved to see her do Fraulein Schneider in "Cabaret".
I always wanted to see several actresses take on "Follies". I always wanted Tina Turner to do "I'm Still Here" and Judy Garland do "Losing My Mind"
Love to see a production of "Evening Primrose".
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
Well, the best part about Garland doing that song is that Liza generally avoids songs that her mother had already put her stamp on, and that would have saved us from this: Losing My Mind

madbrian, I had always thought the Liza "Losing My Mind" was like the Ethel Merman Disco Album. A train wreck that you just couldn't turn away from. I had never seen the video and never thought to look for one.
After seeing the video, you have to wonder what were they thinking? Liza rolling down her stockings is supposed to be sexy? In answer to the question, "Yes, Liza, you are losing your mind."

kchenofan's computer is broken right now. This is her fridge. Now, you can leave a message, but say it slowly, so I can write it on a post-it note and stick it to myself.
She says she wanted to do it during her concerts, and I think Patti LuPone would've made a great Peter Pan when she was younger.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

I'm not sure if you're kidding about Tom Jones as Valjean or not, but I feel like hearing The Golden Voice sing some of those songs would be interesting at least. Though the trend has often been to sing "Bring Him Home" in a pure, falsetto or head voice, I feel like Tom's craggy, rough but delicate upper register would be an amazingly moving fit for that song.
Could he act the show? Hell if I know, but I'd love to hear him try!
