Opera wise I LOVE Anna Moffo. Such a beautiful voice and she was gorgeous. Sara Rameriez is actually one of the best voices i've heard. She needs to come back to broadway or release another album.
Anna Moffo
Not one person has said Linda Eder. Surprising.
Her voice has remained stellar for 20+ years and not many singers can handle those kinds of songs night after night without wear & tear. Eder is truly impressive.

I've always felt Judy Kuhn and Lea Sarongs have pretty much the perfect voices... Love Kerry Ellis. Loved Elaine Paige (in heyday).
On the male side, the voice I wish I had (as a baritone) is that of Ron Raines. Love his two albums, which are him singing all the male (mostly baritone) Broadway standards.
I enjoy Kerry Ellis as well, but there's a sameness in her delivery. I'll be interested to see how she ages and what her voice does in 10+ years.
For a long time, her voice reminded me of a Disney princess. I can't quite explain why, but it lacked what I would probably call 'smoke.'
Audra McDonald, Steven Pasquale, Brent Carver, Jennifer Holliday, Ted Neeley, Ramin Karimloo, Brian Stokes Mitchell and, perhaps my all time favorite - the late David Carroll

Always been a huge fan of Audra McDonald.
Of course, Julie Andrews.
As for the guys, hearing Jose Llana sing "I Have Dreamed" in the King and I continues to blow my mind when I listen to the cast recording from the Lou Diamond Phillips version.
Also, Jarrod Emick when he finishes off "Goodbye Old Girl" in Damn Yankees.
If we are specifically talking theatre, then Paul Robeson and Barbara Cook

Josh Gad and Andrew Rannells. I don't go in much for that corny olden days stuff.

So glad to see another person who likes Anna Moffo!! My personal vocal trinity is Babs, Judy, and Eydie. All such talented performers with amazing voices. They truly we're great. Opera wise I'm also a fan of Cecilia Bartoli. Great colouratura mezzo soprano voice.

Faith Esham and the late Jerry Hadley in the second act of Manon at City Opera circa 1986. The most beautiful noise I have ever heard.
And Nancy Lamott.
Julie Andrews will forever be the most wonderful voice I've ever heard.
That being said, I do love the way Sarah Brightman sounds in this song.
Meadowlark
Kristin Chenoweth. Talk about conveying emotion through voices.
Oh, and Barbara Cook as well.
And don't hate me when I say Patti LuPone. I put her in my grouping of Streisand with the fact that they sing ridiculously well with whatever band/orchestra is backing them up. This is only coming from all of their solo albums and me seeing Patti at 54 Below a few times, but it's incredible to me how well they mesh together and how everything essentially becomes one. And I'm just plain obsessed with Patti and her voice.
As for men: Steven Pasquale and Joshua Henry.
