I gave up. Logged in at 12:20, trying for $40 seats for any Sunday, but after checking through November there were none left.
Even the next step up of $80 seats comes to $200 each to see the play, which is way beyond my budget or anything I've ever paid before. I figure by next year I'll find some way to get cheaper tickets - rush, or discounts - or I'll just have to wait a few years to see it. But for the prices I'm used to paying through TDF, TKTS etc, I just can't bring myself to drop $200 on a play. Even Harry Potter
Oct 24 Dress Left Row B seats 9 and 11. $199 each.
However, as it turns out I probably won't be able to get to NYC in October. Was aiming for June 13, 16 or 17 but got one of the last standby codes and everything was gone. If anyone has 2 tickets to spare on those dates (I'd even go up a price level from $199) would you please PM me?? I'd be so grateful.

Yes, in the Orchestra. Thanks for the info! I am not familar with the Lyric, and had not yet seen the new seating plan, so I was worried that the seats might be too far to the side.

Yup. 22 bucks on my $40.00 tix. But I ended up spending less than planned so I am throwing the balance in savings to put towards the 4 things I want to buy at their merch shop.

I think I sat in a comparable seat in London. Most of the action is center stage. There might be a moment in a scene that takes place stage right where you might miss but it should be fine.
What was the glitch? Was center balcony not available for the first hour at 11? Is that why orchestra seats kept coming up when you clicked on the $70.00 seats?
I got 6 sets of tickets for Tuesday, July 3rd. Dress Circle Center, Row G for $199 each. Total of $2550 for 12 tickets - painful to the credit card, but if I can't find people to go, I can get a refund.
I really want to see an accurate seating chart that shows the last seat in each row. Like most, I much prefer being able to select my own seat and I personally need to be as close to an aisle as possible, but I have no idea how close my seats are as all of the seating charts I've seen don't match the seats I have and the chart they showed doesn't show the end seat number
I did see somewhere else on this thread that it's possible that seating is being added. I know the theater in London went through a major renovation but I'm not sure how much room they would have to work with with this theater. I, for one, am really hoping that they will be adding seating to what the current seating charts show as one of my seats is 32 in Orchestra, when it only goes up to 30 on that side. Haha, guess we'll find out
With an 11am access code - it took me almost 45 minutes to search for tickets. My goal was 6 tickets at the premium seating (yes, most expensive) eventually, I got so frustrated watching the calendar go from Green (available) to Yellow (some) to Red (sold out) and months pass from April to May to June to July availability that I reduced my request to 4 tickets in second best ($199 per ticket per show).
Ultimately ended up with Sunday, July 29, 2018 * ORCHRF, Row E, Seats 18-24
SO many friends got wait listed for tickets. I hoped to help friends with the other 2 tickets but it just wasn't looking realistic.
They have definitely expanded seating for Dress Circle. I have 5 tickets @199 for Row G on a Sunday in May, seats 119 through 123.
Resale prices are insane! Funny part is I've never read any of the books or seen the films. Theatergoing friends whose taste I totally trust say it's a must-see. Of the half dozen or so of us who signed up, I was the only one with a code at the outset. There were lots of problems with Ticketmaster, the most notable being that when I got to checkout and clicked, the message appeared "there was an error, please try again." Clicked multiple times, finally timed out, and it told me to start over. When I tried to start over I got the message "code already used." Called my credit card company and was told the charge had gone through. The tickets did not appear online or in the phone app. Took 45 minutes to get through to Ticketmaster and they were able to find the order through my credit card info. Apparently this problem was widespread, as there were multiple similar postings on Facebook. The tickets finally appeared in my account today.
I wonder how many people got tickets and don't know they got them! Still no confirmation email from Ticketmaster.
BALC 117 (center) row C on the wednesday after the premiere. Payed 160$ per part. Way to much for balcony but at least I'm in the center and after spending a night thinking I got nothing because the site kept saying something went wrong and finding out it did work this morning I'm happy enough. Also in Nyc for just one day from the netherlands so super stoked I got in at all. Wanted front row dress but everyone knows that one was almost impossible to get with this system. Happy for those who got it!
Still very confused on the pricing structure. How does rear orchestra pricing equal front balcony? Don’t know how the view will be, but glad I got fed orchestra seats over the alternative. I’ve given up on paying less for Balcony seats that only add to my fear of heights.
