Did massofmen predict this?
Oh. Dear. Lord.
Ruh-roh, people's gonna be pissed.
I'm relieved, it was going to be difficult for me to go this weekend and I did want to get back one more time. But this is all a little bit silly.
How is it that no one seems to be happy about this? Is it because people's tickets are for the not real closing night? What's up? Everyone was all sad, and now this? Am I being mean?
What is the point?
That's awesome.
Can we make a separate thread announcing that massofmen was even more wrong than before?
Interesting, maybe I'll actually be able to see this now.
yay...now i get to spend more money for the second closing performance...
happy for the show...sad for my bank account.
I second what WAT says. I'm very happy for them, but I already booked a hotel room via Priceline last night. I'm still coming in this weekend, but it looks like I'll have to make another trip for the closing. Would actually like it if they could extend even further!!

Will it not be as good on the original closing night?
WOW! ... weird, but not overly startling! Still too soon, though, for such a beautiful show.

So YAY! I'm happy about this, since my tix were actually for the 10th matinee.
But, um, problem? I don't exactly know what to do. So we got the email from ticketmaster saying Ragtime's closing and we will be refunded. But now that it's extended, we still have our tickets, right? (Just to make sure).
BUT, since this was my Christmas present, after my sister got the email, she then bought tix for the same day to In The Heights so I can still see a show that day. Can we now exchange/sell back/whatever the In The Heights tix? Seeing as it was already announced that it would be closed before then will Ticketmaster be able to do that?
I'm happy they extended, but there goes the $56 I spent to go to the last show...

Where did it go?
Now if only Ticketmaster would let me purchase them....
Is there a way to exchange tickets for the 10th instead of the 3rd? I already had tickets for the 3rd and, much as I love the show, I'd like to go to the actual closing performance...
Ticketmasrer is always a day behind on these changes, so I'd just keep trying.
As far as those that HAD tix that are Noe being refunded -- I have no clue what to expect... But I'd be sure to talk to ticketmasrer as soon as you can.. There's going to be pissed off people if those folks LOSE their seats. Keep us informed as to how it transpires please.
No one here is ever happy about announcements. I'm thrilled for them, but wonder to what next...will this go on longer??
Double post. Sorry
