This has to be a joke. Maybe they're thinking that because Hedwig was Harry Potter's owl's name, they think that means he's going on tour...I'm so confused with this post!

My biggest nightmare is JCM doing a stint as King George... how much damage that would do to my credit cards...
Are there any stops beyond LA, Chicago, Denver, and San Francisco that have been confirmed? I'm interested to see if they'll be hitting any of the smaller markets. Either way, I'm really happy to see this coming to fruition.
it's also currently scheduled for San Diego from November 29 - Dec. 4.
San Francisco: October 4 - 30, 2016
Los Angeles: November 1 - 27, 2016
San Diego: November 29 - December 4, 2016
Denver: December 6 - 11, 2016
Durham, NC: January 31 - February 5, 2017
Chicago: March 7 - 19, 2017
definitely some dates to fill in. just give it time as cities are releasing their tours over the next few weeks.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
I find myself shaking my head in dis-belief at some of the things you post FN------but this response-GENIUS !----How long did it take you to work it out? I spluttered into my Bali coffee whilst gazing out over blooming frangipani trees-and catching up on BWW goss.

I expect the casting announcement will come sometime mid-spring, likely in April or so. There are still a ton of national touring venues that have yet to announce their upcoming seasons, but they should all be out and public by the end of March—the latest. I doubt the Hedwig team would want to make a mass casting announcement without regional audience members knowing whether or not the show would even be heading their way fo' sho' yet.

In most of the places where it has been announced, they are selling season subscriptions at this point, not tickets. So, the show names are usually enough to get people on board. Unless it is a case like Idina touring with If/Then, most regions are usually happy seeing the productions they didn't get to see on Broadway but heard about...
I've bought opening, a few random shows, and closing as of now for SF and am eagerly awaiting a casting announcement to see whether I want to buy more tickets.
I am happy Hedwig will be touring but it's hard to imagine seeing it in the Oriental. All our houses are just too big for this show. I can't imagine being in the balcony for this.
Although I sat in row Z for Beautiful and it was a much better view than I expected.
Are they kidding with those "prime" orchestra and loge prices in San Francisco? I guess they're counting on the tech millionaires to come and talk to each other and text for 90 minutes or something?
I am hoping Dallas fits somewhere in that Denver to Durham gap from mid-December thru late January. It would make geographical sense and Dallas has a huge gay community. We will have our ATTPAC announcement in about two weeks. Saw NPH in NY, but I sure would be excited if JCM did the tour.
But like...when are they gonna tell us who is playing HEDWIG?! The delay makes me nervous.
