HAHA I was actually watching Rescue Me tonight, and I noticed that he has a pretty nice body... so I was curious as to if he bared it all when he was in Take Me Out... damn shame I miss that show!
My 18 year old friend saw that show with our 55 year old Drama teacher when we took a trip to New York. I felt so bad for her, it's like laughing at a dirty joke with your parents. Updated On: 8/31/05 at 02:33 AM
Yes he was, my friend. I saw it with my mother, And let me tell you, I almost died.
I mean, the nudity isn't distracting after a while. But...damn...Hottie McHotties!
And the guy who plays Carlo Hesser on "One Life To Live" was there too and I talked to him and then we watched naked men rows apart. I think he was with his wife though.
Loved TMO...he was actually naked twice during the show...teehee.
"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli
It showed the shower scenes between Daniel and other teammates before he came out and after to show the difference, and OMG the catcher and Daniel were the HOTTEST. Wish I had seen it twice, lol.
When I watched Daniel Sunjata strip down to his nothing-ness, I was like, "Oh---My---Word!" But then I kind of forgot that they were all naked; the story was that rivetting.
My memory of the shower scene: The shower-head contraption lowers from above and I think, "What is THAT!?" and then suddenly, 8 (or so) separate shower heads click on simultaneoulsy and I just went, "NOOO---WAAAY!!"
The nudity was of course a draw to see the show, but everyone was just. . .amazing. 'specially Dennis O'Hare.
Though I'm sure reading it in my living room doesn't have *quite* the same effect as seeing it onstage... especially in the shower scenes... I still adore it. And seeing as how I'm only 15 it will have to do for now.
Gorgeous play...and gorgeous men! Frederick...Weller...WOW!! Even though he played the homophobic jerk, he still has a dang good body, coming from a gay man of course. And Neil Huff...YUMMY! Aww, they were all so adorable in their nakedness. (sigh) Revival, anyone?

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

What I admired most about the evening that I saw this play was Dennis O'Hare's performance.

Let's put the nudity aside, the show was great. The story is a good one, and the dialogue as well as the acting was superb. Great show. I wanted to see the show and the nudity, I'll admit, but so happy I went for the piece of work, that it is...nudity was only a small fragment of a great evening of theatre.
