I'd vote for "I am your father"
"It's Chinatown"
I say "There's no place like home," followed by "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn."
"I love the smell of napalm in the morning"
One of the most overused is, "I'll be back."
Not sure why I'm suddenly being attacked, but okay.
I asked for younger people's responses because the line I think is the most famous is one that my friend thinks younger people would no longer be familiar with. Exactly what singtopher said, only I'm female :)

I'm younger, and also will jump on the "frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn" bandwagon.
I'm 20, and I've never heard anyone my age use the line "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn." And I bet that a good amount of people my age wouldn't know what movie it was from if asked.
How sad is that?
On the other hand, I'll bet half the movies you younger peeps see and the music you listen to go right by me as well.
I have no interest in them. You also have to understand that I wasn't remotely born when Gone With the Wind or The Wizard of Oz were first released. They weren't "my era." My father was seven years old when those films came out. And I didn't come along for another quarter century.
But I do know the lines. Because I was interested in them. I was interested in the history.
And by history, I don't mean last Thursday. Or last year.
Mandi, no offense, but...have you been living under a rock?
I've only got a year on you, but I know just about every line mentioned in this thread and where it's from, and I'm not any more movie-savvy than most of my peers. I'd bet a good amount WOULD know where that line is from.

I'm gonna have to go with Jag2 on this one. How does anyone, anywhere in the world not know that line or where it comes from?! I'm 22 and I've known that line since the womb...well almost.
I don't know if anyone's mentioned this one but, "Alright Mr. De Mille, I'm ready for my close up" from Sunset Boulevard.
Crap kooky beat me to it!!!!
I'm 19, and I have to say, "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn."
The vast majority of the people I went to high school with and go to college with now would sooner watch a marathon of The Hills than sit down and watch Gone with the Wind.
Not so much the people I know through the theatre department, but people like us seem more inclined to watch classic movies anyway.

That's so sad! I'm twenty and I have enjoyed that movie a few times and that line "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" is classic. I however would vote for "There's no place like home" or "Toto, I don't think were in Kansas anymore."
I'm 16 and what first comes to mind is "Frankly..."
"I'm here to clean the pool..."

Well said, Best! Well said indeed!!
My nephew- 17+ said ""With great power, comes great responsibility"
U know- from Spiderman" -I didn't have the heart to tell him ( OK, he's studying business)
My niece 12+ "I'm groundhoging" A "Ratrace" line about really needing to go to the bathroom ( she thinks it's hysterical)
My 15+ niece couldn't give me the actual line but said it was the line in Miss Congeliality that ends with..."and I have a gun. Don't mess with me"
SIGH
The Next Generation.
Well, I'm 18, and "frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" is what immeadiatly came to my mind.
But I wouldn't argue with "There's no place like home" either.

I'm 20 and I'd say exactly what Maisie said. "Frankly my dear" came to mind first, but I think more people would be able to name "There's no place like home" as the Wizard of Oz than GWTW.
