Well, the Pope sketch, and the Starbucks (Verismo/Verquonica!) thing were pretty funny. EVerything else, horrible. Maybe it will uphill from here.

I know this isn't the first time they're recycled a fake commercial, but didn't we just see the Starbucks ad less than a month ago?

Why does EVERY sketch have to be about being black or racism? IT'S NOT FUNNY.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Even though that Z-Shirt commercial probably clocked in under 2 minutes, it seriously felt like the entire 90 minutes! Wow, this is a bad episode!! Except for the cold open, Jay Pharoah as Obama gets me every time!

Brutally unfunny. Even Weekend Update fell flat.

I think it's time to replace Seth as head writer.

This was a week where the sketches read funnier then they were executed. When I read the selected picks of the week I was laughing my butt off. When I actually saw them the fell very, very flat.

Who was the musical guest this week?
Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

Last night's episode made you long for a return of Justin Bieber.

I know I might be the only person to say this but I am NOT a fan of Steve Harvey in the least bit. I could be wrong but I think he's the one person to publicly say he is not a fan of his SNL impersonation and finds it disrespectful. Get off your f'n high horse.

To be fair, the Steve Harvey impression isn't very good and it has never been funny.
Hi, Shirley Temple Pudding.

Well to be fair, the same can be said about Keenan Thompson.

Kenan is full of joy and constantly saves sketches for me. The Steve Harvey sketch was not working until Kenan did the bit about also seeing the horse move. Slayed me.
I also really enjoyed Z-shirts, 360 News, and Vanessa Bayer in the voice over audition sketch. Not a great episode by any means but I like Kevin Hart's standup a lot and he had his moments. I would give him another chance if his new shows take off. He brings in a much broader crowd than snl is used to right now.

I'm going to guess the writers were saving their skills and best writing for the return of Justin Timberlake next week (and hopefully a digital short with him and Andy Samberg).

Is there something wrong with Kevins left eye? It was wandering everywhere.
He was painfully unfunny.
And that musical guest was a clown.

The musical guest was performing a white minstrel show.

He could be a clown but he's the first Hip Hop artist to release a single directed toward Marriage Equality.

That does not a talented musician make.

It doesn't matter the message of a song if the song is crap.
Besides, how could you tell want he was saying? He was talking so fast only crackheads could understand him.
