Where will Harry Potter go if it continues with its longsit downs? Could it be Boston or back to San Francisco and Toronto or maybe Cleveland? Cannot think of any other cities that would sustain a long sit down?"
I doubt Toronto. They don't have a great track record of bringing back shows that weren't hits the first time around.

Would this sell well in Orlando? Are people on vacation happy/afford to put hundreds of dollars down for tickets, with the other expenses? Just wondering as Florida is one of the largest states population wise and seems very wealthy and affluent, with a lot of retirees - however national tours only seem to do a week then move to the next city, with non equity mopping up in the big towns. I have always been surprised tours don’t do better, the same could be said of Las Vegas.
I mostly suggested Orlando as a joke. The touring venues in Orlando and Las Vegas are very much localized and aren’t really selling to the tourists.
I always had a similar thought about Florida; you have Broward, Adrienne Arsht, and Kravis PACs all hosting first run tours relatively nearby each other. Can’t you just have one them host a long sit down run? Same with Costa Mesa. It makes no sense why you need a venue hosting first run tours that close to LA where you have the Pantages and Ahmanson.

Also Broward has a large amount of people that comes down from Boston/New York People going/coming off cruises so would thought that Miami area could have as big theatre audience as San Francisco.
As with Las Vegas/Orlando I guess the tours I watched by predominantly local residence and may get the odd person on vacation. As we have seen Broadway on the strip was a failure. If the tours could attract a hybrid of people on vacation and local residence then it might be possible to have longer sit downs.
The Smith Center feels like it is way too far off Strip to attract tourists. With the price of parking at strip resorts most people aren't renting cars unless they have plans to travel out of the city. I just looked at Google maps and put in the MGM Grand as an example, and it says it takes about hour to get there on the Deuce bus. Google does show it as being walking distance from Fremont.
I've never happened to be in Las Vegas when something was plating at the Smith Center. I made a hotel reservation for the first week of October next year on a black friday sale because it was a good deal, so I'll be watching for what events get anounced. But it's easily canceled if my plans change.

What does level 5 mean? (I’m in NYC but always invested in what my parents will get in Tampa as subscribers - excited to see what they’re getting next year.)
Also, any insight on whether Illinoise might tour, even limited?
Haven't heard anything new about Illinois living on elsewhere. Word when it closed was possibly the West End or Toronto for a limited run. Doesn't seem like a tour is happening.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
DAME said: "So is the Sweeney tour not happening? That is a shame. I would have thought the title would have sold well."
Sweeney is done a lot regionally. Even while it played Broadway there was a stand alone production playing in Seattle at the 5th Avenue, which usually hosts a few touring productions. If they had had plans to tour, then performance rights would have been withdrawn.

There is a Spamalot tour launching September 2025, so that's probably the touring production
Cleveland is not doing a traditional "reveal" this year, but instead has been releasing its season bit by bit, without specific dates.
So far:
The Notebook - September 2025 Hell's Kitchen - October 2025 Stereophonic - January 2026 Suffs - February 2026 Water For Elephants - March 2026 The Great Gatsby - June 9 - 28, 2026
One more show yet to be announced.

Birmingham Alabama is announcing this Tuesday. I’m sure most people here won’t care about it, but it’ll be nice to be one of the first announcing for a change, damned if it’s only second or third season shows.

You obviously don’t live in Southern California. Costa Mesa subscription is its own two week run which is better than one week in many markets. People aren’t going to fight So Cal traffic for 2-3 hours each way to get to Pantages from South OC.
Pantages subscription run is 3 weeks, with many shows longer
Ahmanson I think is four weeks? Not really sure with their One CTG subscription thing
That would be like saying, " Why should Baltimore & DC have their own seasns when they're right beside each other." Or why should Dallas & Houston when they're only a few hours apart.
