What happens when the Pantages gets booked with a sit down? The Ahmanson picks up the slack, I’m sure.

Hysterically enough, the Nederlanders then book tours into the Dolby!
This current season at the Ahmanson has been pretty sparse and dismal, even with Paranormal Activity being a surprise bright spot. I wish more tours booked the Ahmanson - they get longer runs, the theater has much better sightlines, and it's more pleasant overall as an audience member (even though the Pantages is of course stunning).
A lot of times you can predict which shows will hit which venue based on their vibes. Operation Mincemeat gives STRONG Ahmanson vibes. Oh Mary. The Outsiders potentially. Maybe a wild card like Tommy. And then you have shows practically destined for the Pantages, like Death Becomes Her. Part of the fun of being an LA theater nerd!

I don’t disagree, but would’ve thought Six was perfect for the Ahmanson and their type of show, they could’ve done a six week rum there. Six seems to be selling well in the Pantanges though?
I just got a text from Broadway in Hollywood announcing their announcement…
March 5th
Hopefully they’ve snagged something awesome to keep us waiting so much longer than most of the nation.
