A little disappointed in this. Our theatre is not great and they rarely offer any discounted rush program.

I’m a DPAC Season Seat Member and I’m losing my mind over this season! Particularly excited for the five premieres! It’s going to be fantastic!

NC represent! Just a quick glance through this thread, and it seems that DPAC is the only announced (thus far) stop for Just in Time. Maybe I'm missing something, or there are more cities to announce, but is it launching here?

I've been told ABN is going non-equity, but would a non-equity tour do a one-month stint in a city? Might they be continuing the equity tour and also launching a non-equity tour to play smaller cities?

It’s indeed going Non-Eq and they’re casting now. I mean if the demand is there? Def not usual.

The Boston dates for A Beautiful Noise are March 23 - April 4, 2027. Not March 3 - April 4, 2027. So the standard two week run for Boston. Initial post must have been a typo.

I’m also a subscriber and I’m losing my mind over having THREE repeat shows out of eight. Including The Bodyguard, which was here in 2017 and was dreadful. Wicked and Phantom have been through multiple times. The other five are nice, but there is a whiff of staleness.

Yes I know that. For what it’s worth, this touring season has fairly slim pickings of shows that already have not been at DPAC in this past season or so. I don’t have an answer as to why those choices were made. Best advice is to opt-out of one and either re-sell your tickets to shows you don’t want to see through account manager online or donate the tickets. There are options.

Yes probably a my typo. The listing I found was too hard to copy & paste from so I was retyping the info.

What happens if the Ahmanson gets a sit down, what happens with their subscription?

When the Pantages had the Hamilton sit down, they rented the Dolby Theatre down the street to have their season. The Ahmanson and Pantages don't work together (besides sometimes sharing mailing lists)

Ahmanson Theatre (Los Angeles) will not likely have an extended run of any of their shows as part of their subscription. Perhaps, a 3-4 month run at the max, because their overhead cost is too expensive for a non-profit organization. Ahmanson Theatre is an Equity house.
Historical fact: Ahmanson Theatre subscribers went to the Doolittle Theatre in Hollywood during the 4 year run of "The Phantom of the Opera." That was a very long time ago in the early 1990s. Their seasons were called "Ahmanson at the Doolittle."

Interesting. Google & Wikipedia tell me that it is currently known as the Ricardo Montalbán Theatre. Also it was used as a filming location for Burlesque. If those walls could talk.

The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in St Paul has announced their 26-27 season
Dirty Dancing August 12–September 6, 2026
Mystic Pizza October 6-11, 2026
The Music Man December 8-27, 2026
Oh, Mary! January 6-17, 2027
Legally Blonde * February 19-21, 2027
Waitress June 15-20, 2027
Aside from Oh, Mary! it's pretty underwhelming. Hennepin Arts really blew them out of the water this year in comparison.

Are Ordway expecting subscriber to stump up $100’s dollars for subscription?

Durham is the first announced location for the Just in Time tour. Matthew Magnusson (Jonathan Groff’s understudy) went to Durham for the season announcement and sang a few songs.

The Ahmanson hasn't hosted a sit down since Phantom, right? Every sit down since utilized the now-leveled Shubert or the Pantages. Sigh.

There was "Miss Saigon" in the mid 1990s for 10-12 months.. Perhaps "Jersey Boys" and "Mary Poppins" enjoyed a 3-4 months at the Ahmanson. For more accuracy and curiosity, you can look at the Center Theatre Group website at their past productions. Cheers!

Not sure if it’s been in any seasons this year, but sounds like Boop is also going out non-union. Sigh.
