He so far has been the only Broadway actor to publicly announce that he has contracted the virus. He is a success story in that the symptoms have been the same as a minor cold, and we're glad to hear he's doing better.
Yeah--like my sister who had to wait over a week. A nurse finally went to her home today and tested her and the results will be in tomorrow. But she's eating a little more and she sounded a little better when we spoke last night. I've been quarantined form work for 2 weeks, but at least they're paying me, so thank goodness for that.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand: I hope Aaron does not develop symptoms. Glad he is OK.

He announced days ago that he had been tested and was "pretty sure" he had it. He announced today that he had, in fact, tested positive."
I wonder if Sara Bareilles has been tested since she and Gavin were starring together in WAITRESS in the West End but cut their runs short in order to get back to the US.

Based on your sister's experience, I think it is pretty obvious why someone with even minor symptoms should be tested, that way they aren't quickly spreading it to others. I hope she, and Aaron, are able to get healthy.

If you are rich, famous, well connected w/ a great doctor...you can easily get the test...but
You want a coronavirus test -- here's why your doctor probably won't give you one
Aaron Tveit said his symptoms were like a mild cold and that he lost the sense of smell and taste, which are 2 symptoms specific to CORONA-19. He had already quarantined himself and was responsible in seeking testing. I think his speaking about it publicly is quite helpful because it reinforces that anyone can get this and recover from it, but that it's still important to take precautions. I hope he and Gavin Creel recover soon.

Of which I am one! No fever, no respiratory issues, no foreign travel but you have, cough, body aches, chills, a headache and congestion?!?
Nah, you can't get tested! You don't meet criteria...call us again when you are at death's door...
Oh but I'm slowly regaining my sense of taste and smell...so that's a start...

Of course. Celebrities and the wealthy will always have access to the best healthcare and anything they want. All of them that tested positive seem to have mild symptoms, but since they wanted to know, their doctor set them up with a test. It's unfair, but that's just how the world works. The people without access are the ones that need it the most. Surprised some people don't seem to understand that.
Every night, Tveit doesn’t hail a cab or call an Uber to “Moulin Rouge! The Musical,” where he plays the naive American writer Christian, who falls in love with the divine French courtesan Satine (Karen Olivo). Instead, Tveit rides the subway from his apartment in Astoria to the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in Times Square.

I know..it is what it is...DRAKE got tested without symptoms because he spent the night with Kevin Durant of the BK Nets who tested positive

Sunday in the Park with George
And then vote for people that won't do anything about it hehe.
"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022)
"Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009)
"Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

Katie Webber, an ensemble member in Tina the musical, announced about a week ago she tested positive for Coronavirus and has been publicly sharing her experience via her Instagram. Her handle is @katiewebbernyc. I find her posts to be extremely straight forward / informative.
