What the f**k is Disney doing? This guy seems too young to play Lumiere. Plus I never liked him when I saw him on the show anyway. The people who watch All My Children are not going to come see it so what the point? Just to give some young guy his desire. This really cheapens the show even more. Disney is not gaining any prestige by doing this. I would hate to be Peter Flynn and know I am being replaced by this guy during the summer.
Give the guy a break... he might be excellent, or might be the best next thing!
Yeah...he is a talented guy and I know he has an album out. Give him his due or at the least, a chance!

I do watch the show (All My Children). I like him on the show a lot and wish him the best of luck.
He is quite hot.

I've been hearing Jacob has had an interest in doing Broadway for quite awhile. I wish him all the best.
Soooo much gossip about this happy young lad.

gossip?
Anyways, I hope him the best. Although, I do think its an odd character choice for him. But who knows, maybe it fits his voice great or something?
I'm a big fan of all my children, and I have seen beauty and the beast multiple times. Jacob Young has a great voice and is a great presence on the show- i know he will be great!!

A 10 week run seems so short. He barely gets to hit a stride before it's up.
I love him on AMC. I will definitely try to see this.
But does this mean Mark Price is leaving? That sucks .

I think Mark Price completed his 3-month stint a few weeks ago when Aldrin Gonzalez came back to Lefou after a long injury leave.
I heard that there will be a new Cogsworth coming in with Jacob Young, too, but I don't know who it will be.
Flame on, Jacob. Flame on.
Yeah, I see a disaster of Christy Carlson Romano proportions. And I'm an AMC fan (at least until recently).
Seems kind of ridiculous to me
Totally stupid.
Oh my lord... JR is playing Lumiere?! Curiouser and curiouser...
will he get the Last bow?
Doubtful...he's not going to really draw an enormous amount of people to the show - he's not really a star to merit a supporting role getting the last bow.
This show just needs to close. It's just time.
well if it still plays at 90%
it ain't going nowhere
I find it odd that they are stunt-casting a supporting role.
How old do you have to be to play a candle?
Where is Peter Flynn going - vacation? Or is his contract ending? And who will be doing Lumiere for the Weds matinees?
I am fascinated by this casting choice.

well, this is definitely a far cry from JR (AMC) or Lucky (GH) - neither of his portrayals of these characters am I that thrilled with. (the angry young man) I thought it curious casting - but, maybe that was the deal Disney made with him to be on AMC - that they'd put him in one of their B'Way shows. Since he definitely would not be able to pull off the Beast, he's not really the 'Lion King' type and Aida closed - unless they made him 'Tarzan' ::shudders:: - I guess this was the only thing - - of course they could have cast him as LeFou! LOL I'll be interested to see the reviews.
Disney won't let a critic near this
Oh Sybil, I'm sure he'd be great in Tarzan, if only because a lot of people want to see him in a loincloth. (He is tanned and toned lately. Although the new teeth scare me.) I did forget about the ABC/Disney synergy...I'm sure they'll be advertising it on the soaps' bumpers.
